Hi kurjam
Just wondered if your son's GF and her mother had managed to come to some sort of compromise and she had moved back home ?0 -
What sort of mother says "anyway she then told me she`s a little liar and its no wonder none of her family want anything to do with her."
Even if the girl doesn't want to go home, no wonder. Her mother sounds immature, unpleasant and I wonder if she has some mental health problem. Have you involved social services?
My partner had to move in with me after he was kicked out of his flat (a week before christmas). It was inconvenient for me and my housemates, in an already crowded house containing 6 people and 2 cats, it was annoying to lose my space, privacy and solitude and it put a lot of strain on our relationship. I didn't want him moving into my tiny room with me.
But there was nothing else to be done. I wasn't going to leave him to fend for himself. He wouldn't have found anywhere to live at that time of year and he couldn't have afforded a hotel for over Christmas.
I understand your position Kurjam, but the girl could work in her spare time, she could help out with the kids etc. If she declares herself homeless, she could get a hostel/home and everything could be wonderful.
Or she could end up sleeping rough, easy prey to pimps, abusive men and criminals.
It may be disruptive and inconvenient but you *cannot* kick her out and trust for the best.£1600 overdraft

Nice. Sons girlfriend or not, I would not get personally involved. Sounds like the kind of scenario which is going to happen again. Let mother and daughter sort it themselves. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
