Though that link is very interesting, posting it may cause trouble, as it is a private V21 page. For starters someone might ask where we got it from. ;)

i will be in a much better position to comment on that situation in a couple of days . . .

Hi, I’m always nosy, I hope you’ll keep us informed!

You may need to watch out for any new terms that are published which may make yours redundant.

I hope, for your sake, that your plan for getting out is watertight :)
As soon as I get wind of any such terms I shall be subjecting them to in-depth examination!

Also, I agree with your comments to JoanneJ but would add that

    (1) In my experience any dialup speed of 30 or more counts as good; if more is required BB is needed
    (2) Again, if phone and internet are required simultaneously BB is required
    (3) It is up to the user not to start transactions when near the 2 hour limit
    (4) Failure to provide a service if it is really beyond their control, especially if they are trying to fix it, is (I would have thought) unlikely to merit legal action
    (5) At least some of the people from whom overpayments have been taken appear to have been reimbursed.
    (6) Having a cheap office may be a way of minimising costs thereby enabling them to offer a cheap service.

I wonder if that's mine?

Still no connection and coming up to the date when they take the next payment, had no service since the last payment.

Hi Capt Slog, would you mind clearing my quote from your post, please?

It might be slightly amusing to see the delay involved in answering calls for help, but not if you're the one at the end of the queue :(

Sorry to hear you have been off for so long. I hadn't realised people had been off continuously for that length of time
  • @exprog,
    Nothing concrete yet ;)

I can also agree with those comments, but i hadn't realised people had been off continuously for quite so long.

In that case, they obviously should be asking Biscit for a refund or some compensation,

    Regards

As a substitute bit of amusement, here is a pic of Biscit HQ :D

  • I have moved house and need to change my phone number for Biscit (I was Fast4 then moved to V21). But I cannot speak to anyone and am on the phone for 20+ minutes on 0870 383 0030. If I could get anyone on the phone I would cancel my account.

Any advise on how I can get my number changed or alternatively cancel completely (I guess write them a recorderd delivery letter.)??

To cancel you have to write to Biscit at the estate agents shown above. This seems to be the only way they are accepting any cancellations right now. Keep proof of cancellation and then you should be able to get the money back from the bank if they carry on charging. Are you on dialup? And do you pay by direct debit?
