Still no access for me on any number, nor can I get into the members area, so it's obvious that my account detalis are wrong.

I've phoned up three times this week and sent emails, I had one call back which I think was on monday. I was told then to try a different number, which didn't work of course.

If this was costing any more than a fiver, I would be going absolutely spare, as it is I think I may be able to get away with only minor counselling  I keep telling myself to "relax, it's only the internet", but it's the frustration of not being able to do anything about it that really starts to get me down.

Exprog From my point of view, I would rather that they had worked out all the connections before bothering with email and I think that continuing to take on new customers when the 'old' ones were in such a mess was a bloody cheek.

Just looking on their website, and reading an update about email...

Is it seriously true that they have reset a whole load of email passwords for not being secure enough - to the same password which they have then posted on their site? What is to stop people scanning through a series of addresses till they find one where that password works?

    Look, if it's a ball-up and you're on V21, then it's normal! :D

anniecave and carpy - make sure you are using Internet Explorer (I found that my Firefox browser doesn't work on the V21 members area), with your normal dial up name and password. Failing that, it's worth giving it a try with your dial-up name and default password qazwsx.

As previously mentioned, if the default password does work, change it quick 'cos it isn't very secure!

    Yes, it is true!

Isn't that a wonderful explanation for mangling passwords during the changeover :D

Can anyone give me an example of the information on their credit card bill as to the name that Biscit/V21 are using?

Who does it say are taking the money from your account?

thanks nix but tried both IE and firefox and my password and default one but no joy.

they told me they knew there are issues with the member area they were trying to resolve.

what i don't get is how it's working for some and not others??????
