I was aware of your blog (very nice) but had not mentioned or linked to it in case you didn't want me to
Funny how all the blogs are reporting the same response from biscit, isn't it ?0 -
Capt_Slog wrote:Why did it take so long to create the "Service update" web page? And when it did come it looked like it HAD been written by a 15 yr old.................??
Actually it is blogging software, but quite good. The copyright (at bottom of page) is a German guy whose website is all in German.
He offers the option to view the website through the Google translator - Big Mistake!!
The auto translations are hilarious.
You can click on a few of the links from that page and amuse yourself at the expense of the poor guy.
Good software, Good website, he probably doesn't speak English0 -
In case anyone doesn't know the price is now 7.99 a month. I was told its because the overheads are higher now they had split from the other company. I am using it as like someone else said was happening with them, I am about to move house and don't want to sign up to another provider and get tied into a deal as I am investigating the best deal for broadband at the new address. I am hoping that Sky or Talk talk will be available in my new area now or soonish.0

I have been trying to obtain my MAC code from V21/Biscit since Oct 10th which was the only time I was actually able to make contact, I faxed off my request and waited and waited, no contact was possible by any means, be it tel, email, member contact facility, and finally recorded royal mail delivery, which failed as no one was at the address listed on their website.
I have contacted BT,OFCOM, CISAS, and now having a go at ISPA to get some one to make V21/Biscit either respond to my request or remove a marker from my line to enable a switch to another provider.
It is beyond belief that a customer is unable to communicate with their supppier.
Martin please please help, if you can.

Hana - alared might let you tap into his experience on this topic (see post #387 here), but only if you promise to give us another rant! :rolleyes:Capt_Slog wrote:If I can get my £5 a month dial up to work then I'll stay, after all, it's not a bad deal!
Capt Slog - I agree. I know the transition's been a complete b@lls up but where else can you get the same sort of deal? If we did move, would it be jumping from the frying pan into the fire? Especially now that reregistering with Fast4 is £7.99!
Dial-up times are presently in excess of the 2 hour limit. How long for, I wonder?
HotchPotch - re post #462 - Man, I have just got to nominate you for the longest post ever! :eek:I'm NOT political so DON'T correct me!0 -

Email not working.
I have tried every combination from these boards but unable to get it going, keeps asking for username and password.
I`m not too concerned as I use hotmail as my main address.
I`m also sticking with them (biscit/v21,whoever)as long as it stays at £4-99.
i can access the members area and all details showing are correct.
My bank account in online and can be checked swiftly but so far all payments are normal.
Any funny business and I`ll just cancel my DD and Biscit/V21 can whistle.
After their appalling behaviour, they can stick their T&C`s up their *rse.
They are the only ones that have broken them so far.
To be perfectly honest Ofcom should take their license off them and fine them a couple of million pounds.
At £4-99 it can`t be beaten by anyone but BB is only a matter of time but it certainly won`t be with this gang.
ops I`m starting to rant rant rant like Hana0 -
