According to this report, all Biscit`s customers are now with Breathe Internet who have took them over.
Having had dealings with Breathe in the past,I wouldn`t rate them any different from Biscit.
I will not be going with Breathe no matter what deal they offer!
This is the gang that once offered a "one off" £50 for life deal for internet access.
Needless to say they went bust, reformed and started again.

The phrase that comes to mind is "out of the frying pan into
    "

I have had dealings with Breathe in the past and as I stated earlier, will NOT be joining them.
They were another mob that took money wrongly and wouldn`t answer their 0870 number for contact.
It was only when I got OFCOM involved that my problem was sorted out.

I don`t believe they will honour the £4-99 dial-up which we now pay.
Their cheapest dail-up package is £7-99 a month unlimited.

I would strongly advise anyone NOT to go with them but switch to http://www.fast4.net/index.asp
who I have no connection (no pun) with whatsoever.
I was with Fast4 for three years before the Biscit/V21 fiasco.
OK,I`m going to have to pay £7-99 a month but at least I know I can trust and rely on Fast4.

Matrix I emailed the breathe/biscit email address and this is what they said:
    Dear Muffinhead,

You are a 'Biscit' customer and when BT migrate the Biscit circuits to us, you will be in a position to continue your service with us.

All V21 customers became Biscit customers when they sold their company, and you really should have been notified by them at the time.

You will receive notification of us becoming your new service provider as soon as the network changes are made.

    Yours,

I was sent a little information on Breathe.

Have you spotted that breathe who are apparently taking biscit clients use NJP services to manage their systems NJP = Fast4 = Steve = Ex Owner of V21 etc

Fast4 and V21 as far as I`m concerned were OK companies `til Biscit came on the scene.
Fast4 is still run by the same people who ran it `til Biscit interfered.

There`s no way Breathe are going to offer a dial-up at £4-99.
In fact for BB customers they are already thinking up ways of screwing them for extra mony.
    Quote from Marcus East:

    "We are considering three options:

    1. We charge customer a migration fee to cover the cost of migrating their line to us. If they leave quickly, it will not be too painful;

    2. We impose a minimum contract so that customers will stay long enough to avoid the whole thing being a cost to us;

    3. We put in place a termination fee.

My preference is probably for the first option, because it means customers know exactly where they are - if they decide that they do not like us, they can leave easily and without too much difficulty. I know it is a matter of personal choice, so we could give customers options (e.g. pay migration, no minimum contract / no migration, no contract)."

So they`ve bought the customer base from Biscit and they expect us all to meekly go with them but at the same time are dreaming up ways to protect themselves.

Breathe are past masters at scheming and making promises they can`t keep.
  • They've put more details about the packages they are going to offer on the breath site

  • Smells a bit fishy to me!

£9.99 for unlimited, if they get a massive influx of heavy users they will go bust soon! although there is a £69.99 connection charge?

Surely if you are already on a Biscit connection, they do not need to provision a new line!

£17.99 looks ok, however again don't know how could they could sustain a influx of heavy downloaders!

The gold service looks a like a con, MAX does not use 20:1 and 50:1 contention like the older products of 1MB and 2MB!

Of course unlimited could be 5GB a month!?
