    Hi alared

My invoice was issued 25 Jan but didn't turn up until last Friday, tonight is the first chance to look at it properly, including the new link.

This invoice states you have 10 days to query the amount but it took 8 of those to get here!!!!!!

I agree no " contact us" ,too scared I think, also I don't know if they have any payment details and am reluctant to give details again because they'll take 2 lots.

It's also vague about future invoice dates and when they will be issued in relation to payment dates.
Also no info about how to cancel, only their useless 0870 number.

I really think they are going to have to go especially as my service is the worst its ever been, typically 3 disconnections in the first 5 mins.

ps just Googled geoisp ,02081149845 dialup, Primus gives free eves/weekend calls to all 01+02 nos for 1st 90mins , so completely FREE!!!!

I've just put the number in and connected straight away @45.2 and loading pages really fast.
Use own password + user name and off you go in seconds just like me now!!!
    Move along, nothing to see.

I can log-in to the members area but there is no "contact us" link or a members secure message facility available.
Every email I send to different address for them that they give on their website, are just bounced back.

I saw this recent email posted on the ispreview forum http://www.ispreview.co.uk/talk/showthread.php?t=23054

If you have checked that your email is in line with the above then please resend your message to accountsmailbox@biscit.net ensuring that you include a minimum of:

    - Details of exact accounts query that you have, quoting invoice number, amount, dates and payment details if appropirate
    - The best way to contact you with updates.

If you can't log in to the member's portal and your password for it has changed since biscit came along, try the old one, as someone mentioned that worked for them. Ah I see spud17 has already posted to try that :)

Emailing to this address just bounces back to you.

    Spud17

I have been given a new account number and and a new contract date from 1/1/07.
Having looked at my bank account, my old account number shows on the DD payment reference.
I now assume that I have to cancel this DD and via the members area set up a new DD for my new account number.

I can log in at the members portal where it does show my payment details and offers the option to set up a DD with the bank details they alreay hold.
It also states somewhere, that payment will be taken on the 1st of the month AFTER your normal payment date (in my case the 19th).

My invoice is from 19/1/07 to 19/3/07 which I assume would mean the two month payment I owe will be taken on the 1st of APRIL.
(which contradicts their "pay within ten days" warning on the invoice)
I`m going to play it safe and cancel my current DD,wait a few days and then, via the members area, set up a new one and see what happens.
At least with a DD,you can get any over-payment back from your bank.

This gang are a complete shambles.

Howdy peoploids - the following is the email I got back from one of the emails sent (provisioning@biscit.net):

If you wish to cancel, please fill in and return the attached
    cancellation form.

    Kind regards,

    Fax : +44 (0)7092 111 511
    Email : provisioning@biscit.net

...Biscit Internet is a limited liability company registered in England and
Wales under registration number CO 4309413 whose registered address is
Berkeley House, 18-24 High Street, Edgware, Middlesex HA8 7RP and VAT
    registration number is GB 788 1112 18.

The form was in .pdf format which I'll try and edit and send back. Otherwise, fax thru computer.

I thought the service had sorted itself judging from the service I was getting just before my bb connection. I should have known!

Spud17 - trust me, once you get on to bb, you'll never go back to DU! I guess, like me, it was justifying the extra expense. In my case it was easy and, in actual fact, I consider myself way ahead compared to what I had before. The lowered stress levels alone make it worthwhile... ;)
I'm NOT political so DON'T correct me!
  • Have read [on ISPREVIEW site] that a Biscitted victim who had to take them to court, won but then had to involve bailiffs against the company and despite all that then received a rubber cheque, has been allowed BBC airtime to air his grievances.

This and other complaints are to be put to Biscit CEO H Paterson on BBC RADIO 4 YOU AND YOURS next week. Programme will then stream for a week so plenty of opportunity to hear his THIRD appearance on the same show.

Would be handy if other victims meanwhile emailed the programme

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/youandyours/youandyours_contact.shtml

as the more evidence they receive the higher the profile of us poor souls can be raised. They appear to show much more concern over the activities of Biscit than Ofcom.

Who knows....maybe HP might drop the 'sauce' and finally admit some blame.

BTW thanks for all the posted links re members portals/contact emails but none of the former work for me (as ex Fast4) in whatever permutation; just get repeated requests to enter details....so no idea if I too am in receipt of new 07 contract, over inflated invoice etc.... AND emails have been so far ignored....same since 4 11 06!

This morning out of curosity I tried the Biscits 0870 number and found they have updated the system ,I was 2nd in the queue ,a short wait and through to a real live person.

This person took my details regarding excess payments taken in October and confirmed another query.

He took my phone number for a callback, I asked when was that likely to be ,the old Biscit then reappeared, despite the fact that I had opted for accounts this person said they were only there to log calls and would pass on my concerns.

Whilst I was talking to a real person I asked what the procedure was to cancel, (I'll NEVER get a refund now) ,after confirming my address details I was assured a cancellation form would be sent to me via snail mail (still quicker than Biscit can email invoices).

I was informed the cancellation date would depend on how quickly I returned said form.

Nix - quick question -I had a quick look at the Virgin site but couldn't see if you keep your existing phone number when you sign up to a bundled deal.

alared-I too have new account number and contract date ,I'll set up a new DD just to have added security until my cancellation is finalised.
    Move along, nothing to see.

    Hi oap,

That newnet dialup is an 0845 (i.e. charged per time used) number. They do say it is only intended for light i.e. up to one hour per day) use. Beyond that they have broadband.

Received an email invoice charging for a two month period from 19/1 to 19/3/07 for £9-99.
This is the correct amount and also the time period that I owe.

Just wanted to check re that amount. The monthly Fast4 charge was £4.99. So twice that should be £9.98. Am I missing something?

If Biscit are now telling people they have a new contract, has anyone seen this contract, and the Terms and Conditions? I know I can guess but just like to be sure.
