Wow, PP, that's brilliant! All that space, I'm so jealous (do you hire him out? :rotfl: )
Morning all! Feeling grot this morning, full of cold and headachy etc. Oh well, at least it is only a cold and it will go soon. Very grey and miserable outside to match my mood
No plans for today, OH and I are still hoping to go to the cinema tonight but as I've been up since about 4.00 I think I'll just fall asleep in the darkness. Will ring DS later as I haven't heard from him all week and I just like to be sure that he's still alive and kicking and enjoying life at uni too much. Also need to speak to my mum to make sure she's OK.
Have a lovely Sunday, everyone.

Morning Everyone
I'm so tired! Went out Friday night and got to bed at 3am yesterday morning. Got up at 8.30am to go home as I'd borrowed a friend's flat to save a massive taxi fayre. Had a lunch at the local rugby club at 12.15, watched the game, came back to work, then went back to town to go to the Beer Festival for work. http://www.sovereignradio.co.uk/gallery.aspx?id=116 if you'd like to see the photos. Lef there around 9.45pm and got to bed at 11am, then up at 6.30am this morning for work. Going to the gym when I've finished. Then I'm off all next week, so I shall spend the entire time sleeping!!:D
Gym I go to is £5 a time, and I go once a week. Think this is better than paying monthly/annual fee as if I don't go, I don't lose money. Aiming to do an hour.
Going to a cocktail night on Wedneday and bonfire celebrations next Saturday.
Hope everyone's ok. Just about to wade through the piles of work on my desk!!Comping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Queenie - have you thought of switching to the nicotine lozenges instead of patches - you can have them when you feel the need, and cut down your dosage to suit. (And no bad dreams). I got them from my GP, and they were brilliant - and I loved to smoke.
Penny-Pincher - how do you get to post photo's - I've looked at the FAQ's, but I still can't find the way?0 -
Morning all
Finally feeling like the cold is lifting, although still feeling tired. OH is still in bed, bless.
Well today, I have a mass of ironing to do for starters. Don't really fancy venturing too far as its too damp and wet. Need some bits so will send OH to the shop later when he rises from his pit
Breakfast/lunch for me today was poached egg on toast - OH will probably have cheese.
Lunch - don't tend to eat it really on a Sunday
Dinner - Roast Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Roast Pots, Yorkies, Stuffing & Veg
PP - loving your new wardrobe!!Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!0 -
Morning All
Had a terrible night sleep last night, maybe there something in the air. Lovely DH let me have a sleep in this morning so I've only just got up.
Plan for the day is ironing, clean the kitchen floor and cooking a roast for our dinner. Hopefully DH will be doing abit more DIY but I wont hold my breath.
Have a good day everyone.Sorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Morning everyone :hello:
I've just waved goodbye to DH as he's on his way to get the plane to Spain.Next time I see him, we'll be visiting my friend just outside Manchester next Saturday, when he comes home.
Plans for the day:
More planning and sorting out of school work (will probably do this in bits and bobs, otherwise I'll lose the will to live).
Washing up
Ironing (yet again, it's the size of Everest )
My friend's little bro isn't coming round tonight afterall, but I'll probably make spag bol anyway as I've got the mince (from the Farmer's Market yesterday) and veggies to use up. It'll do for another supper this week and bung the rest in the freezer.
Well, I'd better go for now. Have a good day everyone

Hi researcher,

How Anthea Turner are you PP - I couldnt for shame show a piccy of my wardrobes:D Did make me smile as well to see the relative propotion of space allocated to you compared to OH:rotfl: Thats only right and good!!
Very jealous reading all about your fun Sundays carbooting and lunching - its packing and off up the M6 to Scotland again for me for my weeks work. Im planning to leave just after noon then I can hit the Glasgow Fort shopping centre before I arrive at the hotel - maybe a bit of retail therapy will soften the blow! To be honest Im really enjoying this piece of work but I have never enjoyed having to stay over on a Sunday for some reason I feel cheated out of a weekend even if ive had the Friday off
Food today will be either bought whilst shopping or I may have something when I get to the hotel later
Right best get dressed I guess and hit the road
Have a great day all and have a roastie for me if you will:D0 -
Very productive morning so far
Have made 2 doz spiced apple-yogurt muffins, thus using up the last of rather old batch of yogurt. Have started a new batch of yogurt, made a load of granola-type cereal and cooked some quinces in syrup for fruit cobbler this evening. Still haven't done the ironing though  I can always find time to cook, but other household tasks can wait:D
Love the wardrobe PP, it's great having a handy husband isn't it ? (mine's very practical too)
Topher, your plans made me laugh, they reminded me of my menu plans which so often turn out to be a HORRID FIB too:rotfl:0
