Topher wrote:I will pick the apples from the Bramley tree.
I intend to pot up the geraniums ready for the frost, and pack them in DHs car to go to my school tommorrow (lots of lovely windowsills & DH don't like the smell of geraniums indoors.)
I declare I shall weedeth the planter in the front garden!
I will defrost the farm shop chicken parcels (wrapped in bacon) peel the appropriate veggies, not forgetting Pa in Laws Leeks, and make an apple crumble.
I will do the white towel wash and see it through to drying.
I will take CaleyTheDog for a walk in the park whereupon I shalt fill baskets with rosehips.
I will stay at home while DH visits recently paralysed friend in specialist hospital unit.... (he's taking Caleythedog to show him in the hospital garden.) and I shall build myself a rosehip syrup 30 cubits long and..... hang on, this is getting biblical, I thought the language was a bit offish.
Right, I'm off to doeth my deeds and make it not a BIG FIB
.....So why is it that during getting all of those jobs done, I can spot millions of other jobs
e.g.
Picking apples... noticed several had fallen & were attracting slugs, ants and woodlice, so I've got to tidy them up.
Potting geraniums.... noticed that the aloe vera plant had had babies which all need repotting.
Weeding the planter.... noticed that the winter pansies I've been growing, need putting into the planter along with a couple of other plants bought for it, and still in pots.
Preparing leeks... noticed Pa I.L. had donated some radishes, so they also need scrubbing and prepping (too soily to go in fridge.) - not complaining, I'm very grateful for a Pa.I.L. who has an allottment, and is generous.
Towel wash... noticed that there are three more wash loads that needed sorting up and lining up for processing.
Haven't taken Caleythedog for a walk yet, as I still have to finish the dinner preparations. Goodness knows what I'll realise needs adding to that little task.....
Hmmm! (Thinks) Do you think I brought this on with my previous Noah's ark reference (30 cubits) 'cos the tasks seem to be multiplying....
The apple tasks came in two by two hurrah, hurrah,

some were good and some were poo.....0 -

Afternoon
Just in from church. DS managed to fall in a huge pile of dog poo - so trousers spinning lonesomely in the wm. I wasn't putting anything in with them eeuuggh. He has no shame - not bothered about running down the street in his underpants.
Varnished hall last night - DH and I made sure we had supplies of wine and cheese and I painted us in. Was dry enough to walk on by the time we went to bed.
PP - totally jealous of the organisation in your wardrobe. You put me to shame.
Off to make meatballs for tea tonight - one day I'll train the kids to do it. Then we'll see if they like meatballs so often.

Afternoon everyone.
Same with me. I have wardrobe envy.
I thought doing the downstairs of the house would improve my storage problems. Now i'm packing up the office, i only can put it all the stuff on top of the wardrobes in the spare room, and there isn't even enough room there.I don't know where else to go with it.
I just had a yummy jacket potato with chilli for lunch, with stew planned for later. I'm determined to carry on eating well while i can.
Nothing majorly exciting to report. I nearly finished my cross stitch yesterday evening. I had to have a fight with the cat about my cottons, but i won.And the babies room was nearly sorted. We will get there one day.
Hugs to all of you,
Michelle, xx0 -

Afternoon everyone
Well this uni lark is killing me, I am travelling for 3 hours a day and doing 8 hours of lectures...I can't wait to start my placement for a bit of a rest! I only have another 4 weeks left of full time uni though so its not too bad.
Things have still been pretty OS even though I am hardly in the house now. Between uni and boxing I get in on monday, wednesday and friday at 9.30pm (out at 7am) so I only have tuesdays and thursdays to cook proper meals and get all of my jobs done. But we have been managing and using leftovers to good effect. Today I am doing a roast chicken dinner at about 6pm and I will make sandwiches with the left over chicken for tomorrow. I have cleaned all of the house and done all my ironing today :j and also baked a coconut cake :T so feeling quite pleased with myself. B/F is off to the pub shortly so I shall get on with some uni work before starting the dinner.
I hope everyone is well and that I can get back to posting more often in the near future0 -

Had a lovely Roast dinner for lunch...normally have roasts later in the day on a sunday but were starving and didnt have much of a breakie. Was also doing the Roast cook off on the other thread:rolleyes:
Have had a few friends/family pop in and out and have the nephew (6) here ATM. Been invited round to BIL's for dinner later, but will see how I am. Would be nice to get out and see a different 4 walls. They had a voucher through their door for £10 off a £20 spend at a local Indian that they use-so may do that
