The Standard Editor works in the exact same way as the Enhanced Interface, but the Standard Editor will only insert the correct code into the reply box:Example:

you will not actually see your image until you click Submit Reply or Preview Post
You can very quickly change between the Enhanced Interface and the Standard Editor by clicking the Switch Editor Mode Icon above the reply box:

Images on the Internet
If you right-click an image on the internet, there are several options availabe:- You can Save the picture to your computer
- You can click Properties and find out the address of the image
You could simply copy the images address and put it directly into the reply box (see appropriate post above) but this may be considered bandwidth theft. It is often better to upload the picture to an image hosting site (see below)You should be careful that you are not breaching copyright by using an image
Tip: If you need to copy the address, make sure you copy it all. Sometimes some of it can be hidden. You might want to right-click the address in the properties box and click select all.0 -
Hosting an Image
If you want to show others an image saved on your computer, you must first upload it to the internet.
If you don't have your own webspace, there are several free sites that will let you host pictures:
No registration required (but less control over images):
http://www.tinypic.com/
http://imageshack.us/
http://xs.to/index.php/
Registeration required (but more control over images):
http://www.photobucket.com/
http://www.imagecave.com/
http://www.flickr.com/
After you have uploaded your image, you will usually be given the url for your image to use as shown in the posts above.0
