I got home to find my internet connection has gone, not sure if Orange have already cut it off as they did say it would take 10 days, or whether they were having problems
Also had problems at work this week with internet too, sometimes it keeps on freezing out and I have to re-boot??? strange eh??
last nite I was very good and did a clear out of the filing system, whilst watching Extras:T Ive only got those file boxes (3) but there was getting so much stuff I couldnt squeeze anymore in:rotfl: - All cleared and about a bag load of shredded stuff for the binmen!
Tomorrow been invited to a friends housewarming gathering, need to go and get a bamboo plant today as housewarming pressie - as they are chinese I thought a Feng Shui gift would be appropriate and hopefully bring them good luck in their new home!:)

Seeing her stood at the front whilst everyone sang Happy birthday & What a wonderful world it is, was so worth the ten years wait due to me having treament for cancer and everything we went through to have her. Iam truly blessed not only for being here today but for having such a beautiful daughter. Thank you.

Morning all! Its very misty and damp here this morning. I was hoping to hang my washing out and to change my beds (I don't like drying the sheets on the radiators or in the tumble drier, I always hang them outside even if they won't dry properly because they smell so fresh!). Its just a bit too damp at the moment.
Glad to hear about your cyst, Pooky. Must be a relief. Hugs to everyone else that needs one (haven't got time to mention more people but have read through all the threads). Must get on with my cleaning - thought it was 11.00 just now when the clock chimed and was surprised to see it was actually 12.00!
Going to look through my 'One Hundred Bread Machine Recipes' book which has arrived this morning for inspiration and DD2 has said she wants to make beef stroganof for tea (from scratch), so no cooking for me!
Have a good day everyone!0 -
morning folks!
got a busy day ahead of me - parents are visiting tomorrow, so a house clean is on the cards.. fortunately its lovely sunny weather so i've already flung open the back door and going to open the windows to air out the house a bit while i can. Got some stardrops yesterday so the gas ring thingies are soaking in that and vinegar overnight, hopefully that'll make them easier to clean. looking forward to using stardrops on the rest of the kitchen and maybe the bathroom!
as well as the mass cleaning i'm making bread, mincemeat, dad a birthday pressie and trying to do some more quilting (with all the shopping i've been doing i've stalled the last couple days). Pasta for dinner, not quite sure what but definetly pasta.. LOL.
right.. better get on with it!!!
oh and Snowwy - how did the soup go?
