    Morning all :)

DD decided to come into our room 3 times last night so feeling pretty tired. My mind is buzzing with lots of different things at the moment so I found it difficult to get back to sleep.

I need do the school run and then pop to the shops to buy milk and veggies and get petrol, go to the library and then inspired by yesterday I am going to wipe the dust off my Davina excercise dvd and give it a go! All my hard work will be ruined by our dinner of chilli with nacho's and salsa and guacamole, yum!

Ds is off to a friend's and I don't have to pick him up until late so just dd and I really today. We have decided to move to Oz next year now so there is now so much to do, my first thing is to start ebaying a lot of things. I haven't sold books on Amazon before but Oh has a lot of technical books that I know are hard to get hold of and we could probably make quite a bit from if he dares to part with them. We have also got a lot of Dvd sets that we could ebay, so I think I will start there.

I am wittering on now so I hope you all have a good day :).

    good morning.

it is really grey and foggy here today, but the sun is just poking from behind the cloud's.

i made a scrummy tuna pasta last night, haven't made it in months so that has inspired me so much.

Were off to town this morning it's my parents pearl anniversary on monday and i'm having probs in finding a nice card.

both kiddies are awake and playing in there room just goping to get them ready , so we can head into town early.

i've got a mountian of clean clothes to put away, but i find that relaxing at the mo so will do that this afternoon .

brekkies this morning is toast and ceral.um lunch not sure , dinner something with sausages. we have run out of month after our holiday so trying to invent things from the cupboard, thank goodness my 15 month old loves pasta. unlike my 3 year old. ahhhhhh she only likes chips and junk at the mo. it a nightmare.battle of the will i can tell u, but i won't give in. at least she likes spag bol again. something good for her.

  • Hello everyone :hello:

Never usually online this early but I'm on holiday today and fired up the laptop as soon as I opened my eyes to make sure DH has been paid so I can spend it all before he even notices.....:) I usually put a portion of both our wages into a seperate account so we know what's for spending on day to day things and what needs to be allocated for bills, savings etc etc so that's all been done now and my spreadsheet updated.

Quietish day for me - need to pop into town to pay some cheques in and buy a card and a present for a neighbours wedding tomorrow. Then I have an application form to do for a part time job and a veggie spag bol and some focaccia bread to make. I might make some garlic bread too actually.

Hope everyone has a lovely day. I'm back off to my bed now as it's freezing cold and foggy outside and I don't have to go drive the 20 miles into work today!! :D :T

    Morning folks

Have a huge pile of ironing to do today. I am sure I finished a huge pile only last week. Where does it come from and why don't ironing fairies visit my house

Need to get packed as well for our weekend away. We are hoping to get away about 3:30 this afternoon.

Must pop to the post office at some point and the library. Hubby has decided he wants to learn basic Spanish and wanted to buy a £25 cd/book set at the weekend. I refused (what a meanie) and said we would try with something from the library and see how he gets on.

Stepson got a glowing report at parents evening last night. However at one point I was mortified as the headmistress was greeting you as you got there and there was a board where parents and kids could write comments about the school and make any recommendations. Stepson writes "toilets are smelly and could be cleaner". I suppose it shows he is used to cleanliness at home

Must go and if I don't get back on today I hope everyone has a great weekend :D

Good morning everyone. Another lovely day, and everything is still looking so green through the window.

Today I will shorten the bedroom curtains.

Yesterday, I priced up new ones for the lounge, do people really pay that much? It's the cost of two flights somewhere per window. I'm delighted to say I've reached my 40's without even knowing how much others pay. And no, I don't have sack-cloth for curtains (currently thick, heavy dark green velvet, bought for £25 from someone advertising in the local paper). I think I'll start looking on freecycle and the local charity shops again. It's the principal, I just do see the reason to spend £100's, when £10's will do!

Still have to decide what to have for dinner - there's so much veg to use so it'll have to heavy in that way - I've also got some Palma ham to use up - got a 500g pack for £2 :T , it's not the best, but excellent for cooking. I'm maybe thinking cabbage leaves, stuffed with rice, pine nuts and various bits of veg, wrapped in the ham and cooked in the SC in a tomatoey sauce. Or maybe stuffed veg, (and use some of that b****y marrow that keeps looking at me and saying "you will find me interesting" huh, wrong .

Enough of my ramblings - have a lovely day, whoever and where-ever you are. And remember, if times are hard, they do get better.

    xx
