I'm guessing that this is worst case scenario and they have to tell you this, so try not to worry too much PP. Easier said than done I know but you'll have plenty of support both here and at home throughout xx
but then they always tell you what can go wrong not how good it's going to be
or am I just too cynical

evening all
pp
what a shock, after everything else you have been through lately as well. you and your family are a strong unit, i am sure that you will all tackle this as you have all the other problems that you have had.
in the meantime, just get on with your daily life, of orgainsing and meal planning, that we all know u do so well!! i would ask the consultant if u can have a second opinion and i am sure that they always tell u the worst case senerio to cover their backs!!
tommorow, i think u need a treat, a big lush bath bomb and some chocolates maybe???
love and hugs

Hello everyone,
haven't posted for a while, but I've been reading - typically enough not yesterdays thread though, and its not there any more, so I missed the birthday wishes! Thanks to all who posted (whoever you all were) :rotfl: And no, I wasn't listed in the birthday list at the bottom of the page, so I wonder who let it slip? Come on, it must have only been one of two of you - who wants to admit to it?(not that I mind at all really)
I - for what must be the first time - managed to 'chocolate' myself out yesterday, so didn't even want any sweet stuff today (which meant more biscuits for everyone else at my training course today)I did have a lovely birthday, with lots of lovely cards and phone calls, so I've been a very lucky girl.
PP - sorry to hear about your leg: hope it all turns out okay
Kyle - hope ds1 is feeling a lot better
The weather here has been miserable today  Been busy at work though, so the time has passed nicely. Off next week so hoping to get lots of OS stuff done - planning some housework and cooking sprees I think.
*hugs* to everyone who needs them - take or leave as you please!0 -
Hi Squishy - haven't seen you here for a wee while. Hope you've been OK. Many happy returns for your birthday yesterday, glad to hear you had a good one.
I've been good this evening and been out for a walk - not a mega big long one - but enough to get my blood pumping and a wee bit out of breath. Obviously it's very MSE just to walk - it's free and easy and needs the minimum of equipment. Unfortunately I forgot to attach my new free pedometer (see packs of Kellogg All Bran for it) but I'll try and remember tomorrow and start working up to 10,000 steps per day.
I had a trip into Sainsbury's today - they had heaps of stuff with yellow stickers on - lots of veg, fruit, tinned pulses and fresh meat. I didn't get a lot of meat but filled my basket with the other stuff - I wandered out with two full bags of shopping for about £10 and which keep me going for lots of meals.
Overall not the most eventful day of my life, but definitel not one of the worst either.

Squishy it was i who let slip it was your birthday:p glad you enjoyed your day
Made peach sponge pudding today, had our beef olives as well, they were lovely:D
Took ds1 to dr as he was still sore, he has pulled a muscle in his tummy, which was also causing his neck pain, poor man.

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for Thursday 12/10/06. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

Morning All:hello:
Well, yesterday I did my Davina workout DVD (another October resolution!) and then went on a long walk around the local reservoirs pulling the pushchair through lots of deep gravel paths. Today I can hardly move I am so stiff:rolleyes::rotfl:But I have managed to get the SC & BM on & WM will follow shortly with a load of nappies. Then it's off to the Docs for Spud to get this new vaccination then if he is OK off to the farm shop. This afternoon I am making a cake for a mother & baby mornign tomorrow, a easy sponge I think.
Ageandjo, I got really disorganized and as a result demotivated for months. It took going away last week to get me back on track, fortunately I cleaned thoroughly before we went & have come back full of good intentions about everything from budgeting to losing weight! So far everything is on track, but then it's only been 4 days! It's just a matter of giving yourself a good talking too I think. Good luck:grouphug:
Have agood day all:wave:Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!0
