I think what you are talking about is sold as a food mill or mouli.

ronankfan wrote:Our new puppy keeps weeing everywhere (any advice??? she ignores the newspaper we put down!!).
I have a 6 month old puppy Pug and also a 10 week old one so I know all about the toilet training! As Im in most of the time I never train with newspaper as it just teaches them to go inside. If you are going to be leaving the pup for a certain amount of time each day though you will need to train the pup to go on the newspaper. Or buy the special puppy pads instead which soak up the wee and also have a certain smell to encourage the pup to do their business on it.
The way to toilet train is to take the pup out at regular intervals, always after meals and always when just waking up. Do not tell the pup off when you have an accident in the house as this will make the pup try to do it in secretly (ie behind a chair!). Just put the pup outside as soon as you see it crouch and hopefully, if you have caught it before its finished, it will finish off outside. Lots and lots of praise every time the pup 'goes' outside and also a treat does the trick too. You will always have accidents with a pup but with lots of positive reinforcement and praise it will soon learn that outside is the place to go. Clean up every accident using biological washing powder as this masks the scent which could encourage the pup to do it in that spot again.
It means that you will spend a lot of time outside standing and waiting but it is worth it in the end. Use a phrase like "be quick" every time it 'goes' outside and it will get to know that this means "please do your toiletting now!"
Hope this helps! Good luck!
PS. What Pawpurrs says about the crate is true too. They don't tend to mess in their own bed.0 -
Have just ironed some shirts for DH and the dishes are in the dishwasher.
It is pouring with rain so there is not much point in putting the washing machine on.
Trying to rouse myself to make a loaf and prepare sweet potato cakes for later but feel really tired and queasy.
Hugs to all those under the weather."This site is addictive!"

Okay, Hi all. I'm new to this, have been reading for a while and am completely addicted.
So far today I overslept due to OH not being well and tossing and turning all night. Wasnt too paniced as DS is off school with a viral infection and DD (x2) take themselves off to school.
Have stripped DS bed.
Third load of washing in the machine.
Ironing - all up to date (watched Jeremy Kyle while doing it quite an arrogant man him)!!!
Sewed buttons back on DS pyjamas and corsage back on DD coat.
Still to do:
Hoover, quick swish and swipe round rooms, had a major clean yesterday.
Go to library to print off DCA letters (thanks to Bank Charges Forums!!)
Buy peppers to go in sausage pasta tonight.
Continue to sort and hang out washing - more ironing tomorrow for me!!!
Hopefully that is all I have to do but Im sure there'll be more added.
Hope you all have a good day!!They took my signature away!!!!0 -
Aww - thanks guys for welcoming me back! I had a bit of a late start this morning (10.15am!! eek!) and saw that the sky was completely white through the crack of the blinds, and thought that it had snowed! Sadly, not the case, just the mist - but it was certainly a lovely autumny start to the day.
My plans are to go and get myself organised, then im going to walk (I sold my car!) to the local shops to buy a few bits of food and look for one of those mouse sander things as im going to make a start on my coffee table (sand off the outside ready for staining as it is a slightly different shade to the bookcase and I want everything matching perfectly). I think i might crack out the bread maker today as its been sitting in the cupboard for months and i might even make a chicken casserole in the slow cooker. I think today is a 'homey' day - some nice autumn food and a spot of nestbuilding will do the trick.
I might even pop into lidl today and see if I can scout any bargains and have a browse of some other shops to see if I can get some xmas pressie ideas.
Have a lovely day all!

Good morning,
All computers were down this morning so couldn't get on, in fact couldn't do anything so read the local paper and drew the floorplan to my lottery home (sad, would help if I started actually buying a ticket)!! It's very nice actually....:p
OS wise, swept floors downstairs this morning and popped WM on timer, washing is taking such a long time to dry at the moment and I'm struggling not to have a mountain of the stuff. Am not missing the heating at all apart from it's help with drying clothes so really don't want to put it on just for that.
DH was supposed to be washing and hoovering the car and trimming the holly tree in the front garden today, but didn't as it was a bit drizzly, so he's doing nothing, wish I got half the holidays he gets.
Dinner tonight is stir fry and think I will make some more flapjacks.
DH did me a new avatar last night, what do you think?
Have downloaded the photos and will try and pop them on shortly.
Hugs to all in need. Have a lovely day all.
