    Morning all.

Well I am up exceptionally early for me, maybe 'cos I went to bed early for a change.

Well exciting news is that we got a new black and tan jack russell puppy last night. Bit of an impulse, but then again we have wanted one for over a year, and just couldn't afford the cost of one. He's adorable, and we've called him Alfie:D So will have to get him off to the Vets as soon as for a once over and some vaccinations.

The car is booked in for an MOT today so fingers crossed for that please. I can well do with out a large bill today:rolleyes:

OS is just cooking dinner tonight, chicken with cheese and bacon.

Won't have time for much else apart from a quick fly around this morning.

    Have a lovely day everyone:D

    Morning everyone

At work today so nought much else will be getting done. Might manage a load of washing when I get in as I have a few things I want to take with me this weekend and it's getting a nightmare drying clothes in this chilly weather.

I dunno what was up with me yesterday but was making lots of silly errors at work. Totally unlike me as I am normally very careful. I think the heating had been bumped up too much and my brain was melting

Hubby fancies sausage, egg and chips for dinner so that is what we are having. As I am not keen on chips I will have beans instead.

    Must dash

    Have a great day :D

    Morning All:hello:

Well, had a good night but been awake since 4.30, think my insomnia is comming back:mad::confused::rolleyes::p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p

WM on, BM on for dough for rolls, breakfast soon as I get off of here. Off to the butcher & bank today & my usual fortnightly stoll around the local shops:D.

Am toying with the idea of treating myself to a little dirt devil hand held vacuum cleaner:think:, my Nan had one & I used it last week after meals to clean up after Spud (and hubby) and it was FAB:T & so much easier then getting a big vacuum cleaner out & much stonger & better than those little rechargable ones. £30 but Amazon is the only place I can find one, would feel better if I could find it somewhere that I could at least get RPoints back on it.

Now, I hope no-one is going to be offended:grouphug:, but I am not going to jump on the daily thread "Thanks" bandwagon:o. Now that I know what it is all about, I don't feel obliged as I never did say hello to everyone personally just a general "morning all", so I am not going to thank you all personally either. I just think it undermines the "thanks" button if it is used as an acknowledgement, rathen than to actually thank someone for something interesting or useful. So please feel free to not thank me for just posting, but please thank me if you think I say something worth thanking me for!

    Have a good day

    Good morning everyone:)
Welcome back jw1096 I was only wondering yesterday where you'd got to and how things with the boyf were/weren't working out. Now I know:j

Baking day at the house of thrift - blueberry muffins for school and maybe some blackberry ones for my lot (think there's a few left in the freezer). I'll make some flapjacks too. Might cook some more quinces down for puree, actually I might give quince muffins a try :D

Breakfast - toast and porridge/yogurt and quince
    Lunch - Ham sandwich, apple
Supper - Pasta bake with hidden veg sauce and mozzarella
  • Hi jw1096-I have asked about you several times and am so glad you are ok hun:D We have all really missed you and am happy your relationship with your BF is now getting somewhere positive...you really do deserve it;) Look forward to seeing more of you!

Another bad night last night, but I have 2 appointments at the hospital and am just abit nervous:confused:

WM is on, DW needs to be emptied and toilet cleaned.

The stew/soup I put on last night looks devine and have taken the bones out this morning...there is tons of it, so what we may do is have it for stew today then thin it down abit to make the rest into soup. I cant believe how much meat was on it....excellent value and tastes lovely.

I got sausages out for dinner tonight but may leave those for tomorrow if we have the stew today.

House is generally tidy and OH got the basic wardrobe bits fitted, so hopefully over the next few days it will be done and my bedroom will look loads better. We then just have to choose a neutral colour (im thinking beige/coffee???) and put coving up and paint the ceiling and it should be perfect!

Anyway, I have to go and mske sure DD has eaten her breake and is ready for school.

BTW, she came home with another letter yesterday for a day trip to the German Xmas market £55, then another letter coming home today about the Geography trip to Switzerland £550:eek:           ....she should have been home taught!!!

    Breakie: Toast & Pate
    Lunch: Soup
    Dinner: Lamb Stew

Hugs to all. Well done with the smoking Queenie:D ....come on...you can do it!

    Morning Peeps,
Well I read a interesting article that said that woman at home are 50% more likely to suffer insommnia, thought that was interesting as a few of us suffer here. Dont know quite what we are supposed to do about that, but hey!
