  • Queenie-Hope it all goes well with the giving up smoking. Just remember to take one step at a time and dont beat yourself up to much about it if you have a slight relapse. My sister is trying to give up by her 30th (january) and she normally smokes about 10-15 a day, so I suggested cutting 1 fag an hour to 1 every 1.5hrs and so forth......dunno if its working yet though:confused: She too has to go in for an operation in the new year (hysterectomy:eek: ) and she needs to give up before then.

Wish you well..and you CAN do it:D

Freya-Hugs to you and your family. Sorry to hear about your loss.

    Morning All,

Sucha busy day yesterday, have PM'ed Shez but think she may have left already, will text her. We are leaving shortly, have prepared the hugest picnic so hope everyone's hungry. Also prepared dinner for tonight so can come home, drink wine and enjoy the kids even more!!:D Might persuade DH to do a log fire too, we are still resisting the heating and actually don't miss it despite there being a definite nip these last couple of days, maybe we'll make it beyond November!! ;)

Have a lovely day all, off to text Shez now. Will post later.

Hugs to you Freya - and prayers go out for all your family. Hope the poorly people are getting a bit of sunshine today and feel better soon.

Slept in until 8.30am this morning! That makes a change from the 4am starts I've "enjoyed" just lately. The dogs are thoroughly confused though. So far, all I've managed to achieve is to put the chicken in the SC for later on today - and read a whole heap of email and messages. :D We're off to Rochester for the food festival later on today. I'm hoping that as we'll be there in the last two hours, we might get to pick up some bargains. Haven't got much cash to spare for it, so they'll have to be REALLY good bargains in order to qualify!

Better get on, I'd ideally like to get rid of the ironing before we have to go out!

B : Sugar puffs and h/m yoghurt (disgusting things, but somebody needed to eat them up, as neither DS nor OH will touch them, now they've decided they don't like them!).
L : Something involving an egg, I suspect!
D : Roast chicken, roast potatoes, parsnip. Veggies & stuffing. Choc ice cream for pud.
:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:

    Morning everyone

Jockettuk - At 11 I am sure your daughter probably has enough going on in her head without problems from Dad. My stepson (who is 10) has only seen his mum once since Jan 2003 as apparantly it is too far for her to come and visit - a whole 40 miles. She too tried to demand we took him to her but my husband refused as he had travelled and took him to his house every single weekend since he was a baby. When she stopped contacting we decided he was better off without her.

Anyway, never woke up until 9 this morning. That just never happens

Put a load of washing on, had a shower and some brekkie.

When I am ready we are off to Costco as they have loo rolls and mach-3 razor blades on offer.

Going to make roast veggies for dinner. This is about the only thing I like about winter is that my fave veggies are back in season - parsnips!

Oh just one more thing before I go:

    SCOTLAND 1 - FRANCE 0 :j :T :j :T :j :T :j :T

    Hello everybody,

Thanks to the virtual hugs yesterday. :A Still not feeling the best today. See how I go tomorrow & if I"m still crook off to the dr's. DGS was in one of his *naughty* moods this morning but been good as gold after his arv nap. Bliss. :D

DD made tea tonight. Baked spuds with broccoli, bacon with white sauce. It was nice & very much appreciated. Windows arrive tomorrow. Also the outside cladding should be coming too.

I have decided not to fix my computer now. At Hervey Normans this week they have a computer tower on special for $447. I have a $250 voucher so in actual cost it will be $200. I think it's the cheapest option and the most easiest atm. DH is getting it during the week :j as they have a store where we have to pick up the HW system. They called to say the right one had come in. Well off to have a surf and then go to bed. Have a nice Sunday. Byeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

csarina - so, so, sorry to read about your phone :( Call the Police first, get a crime reference number, then contact your mobile provider and report it stolen. Depending on the terms and conditions, you may still be responsible for any changes made on your phone up to the point where you report it missing/stolen to your provider!
