    Catowen, that's awful

Have you rung the shopping centre? If it hasn't been handed in, cancel all your cards NOW.

  • Hi everyone:hello:

Haven't posted for a while as I seemed to hit a big depression and couldn't shake it off. Very unlike me (although I am wondering if I am now in early stages of menopause  ) I am feeling much better now even though I am smothered with a cold. That's thanks to our local leisure centre having no public showers available so I had to queue for 10 mins in a wet swimming costume to get a private cubicle.

catowen bad luck on your purse being stolen. i hope they catch the little blighters.

I have been trying to be as OS as possible recently. My cupboards are emptying nicely and I have quite a few home-cooked meals in the freezer. I will add to that this weekend hopefully.

Well, got to go and get my PTA head on now. This is my last year as the treasurer. :j :j :j

((((((hugs)))))) to all who need them.

    Hi Everyone

I've now found out that the big meeting will be tomorrow afternoon at 3pm. So have to wait and see now.

Got another late one tonight. I really need some sleep. I just always seem to be working and have no time to myself. Anyone have any tips for not caring so much about work and putting me first?

Been very naughty and spent £10 on a chinese for lunch, despite having a perfectly good sarnie in my bag.

    So overall feeling very depressed.

Hope everyone's doing better than me

Big hugs Catowen, thats so awful for you. Check with your home insurance. I know with some policies you can be covered for personal losses outside the home.

Thanks everyone, still upset, but calming down now.
I noticed the purse had gone once i got back to my car in the shopping centre car park, so reported it to them straight away, also went back to M & S, which was the last place i had used my purse but no sign of it. Some bloke had helped me with the buggy up the stairs, so i wonder if thats who, and when it went - mind you, i would recognise him if i saw him again!!!!!
Ive now cancelled all my cards, and reported it to the police, they are going to pass my details onto victim support, but not sure what they can do to help (unless they have a spare £220 lying around!!!!) Have checked my home insurance, but doesnt look like im covered
Its such a shame, cos we had been having such a lovely time, had collected loads of balloons for the little one from different shops, M & S were giving out glasses of champagne (and it was proper champagne too!!!!) so i had a glass (has to be done!!!) and i had actually won a £10 gift voucher in a giveaway they were doing, so had been feeling really lucky!!!! Then the little s*** decided he/she wanted my purse
Didnt managed to see DDs teacher this morning, so i insisted on seeing the head teacher instead, and hopefully she will do something to make sure that DD will be ok now. Hopefully thats our bad luck over with for now.
Well, off to collect DD and DS from school, able to go a bit later today as they have German lessons after school today. We are then off to friends for dinner, so that will be nice.
Hope everyone has a lovely evening,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
