    I've been Money Tipped!
    :hello: Morning Ooops! Afternoon everyone!

Slow day again for me. The numbness on my left hand side has eased with a nights rest but I am taking it as a warning to get back to pacing :o I will learn one day!

Actually I get quite a bit done when I pace (use a timer) and today is left overs day (before tomorrows shop) so for today the menu is:-

Breakfast - last of the hm muesli and oj (must make some more in a min)
elevenses - Banana bread made in the bm yesterday with leftover jam
Lunch - hm soup using up the left over veg (bubbling away on the stove right now and last of the hm bread (the wholemeal not the choc loaf - that's for pud tonight:D )
Dinner - Pasta bake using up leftover chicken and bacon followed by chocolate bread and butter pud (bit of an experiment this so fingers crossed)

Have got through the week with £8 in hand so far on the grocery challenge and still a full freezer (though still not sure what is at the bottom  of it)

Bit of a miserable overcast day here so washing is on the airer, have a huge ironing pile awaiting my attention! Might put on one of my car boot bargain films - 50p a video!

    Catz x

OMG Cat  that's bloody awful. You will have to ring around and cancel the cards straight away. That's terrible about losing that much cash. I hope you will be able to manage without it ok. (((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))

Poor you, Catowen! Go back to the mall just in case someone has handed it in. Some people are honest. How awful to think someone probably has your cash though!

    Hi everyone!
Hugs to all that need them!
Well I succeeded in my quest last night to do/achieve diddly squat...I even lay down and failed to wake up in time to see who do you think you are? Eventually came to to find a certain little tortoiseshell lady using me as a head rest!!
OS today so far has been hoovering up and down aswell as a white wash and a tidy round. Was pleased because managed to find a triple box set of CDs in Wilko called
"Music inspired by the Lord of the Rings" for £3.99 for my friend's 40th. She's a huge Tolkien fan. Can't afford to splash out a great deal at the mo' as seem to be spending money like water despite best efforts. The kettle died last night...thank goodness for my OS squirrelling away habits. I remembered that Tesco do a value kettle so we're up and running again!
This evening it's pasta and Lidl pesto for tea as it's the small person's final beavers. Hopefully he should receive his bronze award. Other than that I shall do the weekly menu and shopping list [now where's that thread on cheap meals!!] and then I've promised OH I'll do some paperwork with him that's for his business. That's if I haven't already gone AWOL with TWG in hand [and possibly a small sweet sherry in the other!!]
Enjoy you day and dose yourselves up with your HM elderberry cough mixture. Don't forget the old honey and lemon [with a large slug of whisky if you're so inclined!!]

Havent done too much in the way of cleaning but had some admin jobs to sort out that were weighing on my mind, and now have some envelopes to post, thank God thats done.

Made a lentil soup this morning, pork chops with mashed potatoes and veg tonight for tea plus leftover rice pudding from yesterday.

Off out to get some milk and stuff in a minute. Its getting cold and I have no clothes to wear as I have lost weight! Might try the charity shop near school as well.

Sorry your purse has been stolen, I dread that as I've just started to withdraw my food money monthly but worry I might lose it or have it stolen.

Catowen - so sorry to hear about your purse ((((HUGS)))) What a rotten thing to happen especially when you were so looking forward to your trip!

catznine - glad the numbness has eased after a night's rest! Back to the pacing again....((((HUGS))))

MATH - lovely to have you back!

Squeaky -Belated Happy Birthday! Lovely to have you back too.

What a lot of poorly children atm - hope they and all ill OSers feel much better soon.

Not much OS going on here today as i think I'm still getting over the coach trip! Have 2nd washload in, and trying to get brain in gear to make out some sort of shopping list. I know we definitely need garlic, as I used up all I had before we went away, by making the "Chook in a Crock"! DH isn't well enough to take me shopping so may have to call on DD's help unless he feels better tomorrow. Don't want to go on my own as my muscles get upset when I have to push a loaded trolley!LOL

Other than that, just planning some hoovering and must remember to take some meat out of the freezer - spag bol tonight, I think.

    Will catch up later!
