  • Morning Everyone (((((((hugs))))))) to all those ill or in need

W*** again today but OH and I booked our holiday last night, well OH booked it and won't tell me where we are going but I can live with that!! We're going the end of the month for a well deserved break, can't wait.

OS today for me is pretty limited as am back at w*** but will stick the WM on before I go and have a quick tidy, then run the vac around when I get home.

Am aiming not to do much food shopping before we go away, so we may be having a few strange meals at times during this month :rotfl:

    B - Cheerios
L - Turkey & Pickle Wraps, Carrot Sticks & Pretzels
    D - Lasagne & Salad

Have a good day everyone xx
Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!
  • Morning Guys!

Not a good night or morning here and GP has just been round with a shot of morphine for me as Im in so much pain. I have to stay in bed and have total rest again. Its really starting to pi$$ me off now and feel so fed up with it all. Im supposed to be at the hospital today, but GP has called them and said Im not well enough to go so they have re-scheduled for either later in the week or next week.

OH has made a another bed for me on the sofa and has just taken DD to school as no-one in the family could do it. DD even offered to go by bus but she has never been by bus before and would be worried sick. My poor OH is so knackered but he wont ask for any help. I normally keep it together pretty well but keep crying as its so not fair on my family. I dont want to be away from my family, but they need a break from looking after me all the time.

Sorry about the gloomy post but just needed a rant. I'll be ok in a bit:o

Not a bad day yesterday. Managed to make my croissants...and whilst not perfect they weren't too bad for a first attempt. OH has taken one or two to work so they must be pretty reasonable. Thinking about doing some mince pies at some point this week. OH loves them.

Also went for a walk as I needed some eggs. However, afterwards I felt like death thanks to bean. She moved and put loads of pressure on me down there. Walked around the house like an old granny for the rest of the day.

Plans for today are to get the washing machine on. To get the breadmaker on again (bread this time). Do any washing up. And to get started on my rather extensive pile of xmas pressies.

As for tea...not quite sure yet. I'll work that out in a few minutes.

Morning everyone and to all who follow after
Very tired this morning, my dog woke me up at 4.30am snoring, so I just been tossing n turning from then on.

    Very windy here today.

Work at 10am, WM on now. Kids slowly getting sorted for school.
Will pop back later after work, and let you know how my second day went.
    Love to all

Having horrific IT problems at w***, so using the time to have a little browse!

More soup making tonight I think, as some rather sad looking veggies are languishing in the fridge!

    Have a good day everyone!

Penny Pincher That's awful, I hope you're feeling better soon.

snowy Those hours are a killer! I'd never manage to get anything OS done if I worked 10-7!

I'm still waiting to hear about this new job. I don't hold out much hope but I'd like to know one way or the other. I think I'll be quite distracted today until I find out.

    :hello:OS'ers :hello:

:grouphug: if you need one. :grouphug:

Yesterdays trip to Mr T's was horrendous, they are altering the store, can't find anything and they were out ofvalue milk GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRR so I have to go back this morning and see if there has been a delivery overnight.......

Bad night, OH decided he had palpitations and spent ages moaning, when we got to bed he fell asleep and started snoring...........1.30am and I was still awake, almost finished reading a book before I finally went to sleep. Needless to say he is fine this morning, out in the garden, me ? like a wash dishrag, but then thats what wives are isn't it?????

Up early this morning, a load of washing on the line, yogurt made, a load in the BM, sitting room cleaned quick polish and hoovered....... windows cleaned.

I am also going to look at carbon monoxide alarms, I am getting very wary of gas applianaces, our boiler has not been serviced since it was put in 2 years ago, the gas safety check was done late this year..... although we had asked for it to be done in January it was June before the landlord did it. Having had OH in hospital from CM poisoning some years ago due to a faulty gas fire, I have no wish to repeat the experience!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the landlord shold fit the alarm, but I know he won't, so for my own peace of mind I am going to do it myself.

Yesterday I chased insurance, but have decided to leave it as it is, if I cancel mid term they will charge me, so will change in June when this policy runs out, guess as it is done through the bank they take a rake off which is why the premiums are higher.

Right I stocked up on coffee yesterday so am off for a cup before I go back up to Mr T..... I have half a tank of fuel to use up before we change the car next week, not much chance of a day out as we have too much on, a full weekend with a dinner dance and a boot sale at the weekend.
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.
