Washing machine is on and I have now phoned all the solicitors in the area where DH's best friend lived - no will anywhere!

Will have a break on here for a while and then try phoning all the banks in the area in case he deposited a will there. Long shot but worth a try.

    (((((Miraki))))))

May make shepherd's pie and spag bol for tea as that went down so well last time - or else home made pizza.

    Hugs to all.

The power goes on tomorrow and the electrician will be wiring it up. :jAll the gravel was delivered on the weekend in readiness for the plumber. We just have to pin him down to start now. XDIL moves on Friday so we will deliver DGS over to her on the weekend. We would have had him for 6 weeks and it's going to kill me. He started to call DH Poppa on Friday.:D The wee traitor, he could have said Granny first.

Bgn Rzl Are you moved yet? ;) I can't get over how slow the process is over there. I thought we had it bad. Hope you are in by Xmas.

Catch you all later & enjoy the day. Byeeeeeeeeeee

    Hello again,

Well, back from the doctors, she has prescribed more antibiotics and i have to go back in 10 days time (better or not) so she can check me. I also have to have a blood test this week to check my platelet level (they tend to drop when you are ill) and when i see her next, if i still have this cough, im going to have to have an xray!!!!! Its nice to know that they are looking after me, although sometimes it does scare me, my ITP is an immune system problem, which is why all the extra care when i do get ill. Luckily that isnt very often!!!!
Anyway, have taken my first tablet, fingers crossed they work this week, and im now going to make the cakes with the little ones!!!!
    Have a good day everyone
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I dont have car insurance with Tescos, but i do have their buildings and contents insurance. It was really good value, and they made it really easy to swap as well!!!!
  • Have just been to collect DD from morning school and the house opposite the school had a skip and were having a clear out. They had just thrown a large wicker basket out. It is gorgeous so I just asked the guy if he was really happy to throw it and he said it was mine! I'm so pleased-it's huge and in great condition - just needs a dust!
Where to put it and what to use it for now? DD or DS room for toys, playroom for toys or my room for storage? ?

    Good Afternoon All

    (((Mirakl)))

Snowy & Craxychik - hope your new jobs are going well.

Am on 'lunchbreak' at the mo, have set myself a timetable today as someone recommended on here a little while ago and trying to stick to it.

So far have done 2 loads of washing, tidied up and cleaned bathrooms. Had loads of parcels delivered last week and have opened them all and put away - were mainly xmas pressies.

Am in office for and hour and hope to get loads done, after that need to get car tax and do yesterdays ironing.

Tonight will get the kids back into homework routine and hopefully as an incentive play some games after dinner, Im favouring frustration but dd will want monopoly. (I rarely get my own way). Also need to carve the pumpkin for tomorrow.

Must be off now theres some more threads on os I want to have a look at before my lunch break ends.

    Have a great day.

    L - toasted pitta bread
D - chicken legs,hm wedges, salad and sweetcorn.

    Hi everyone!
Seem to have been off line for ages and as usual loads of threads to try and catch up with.
Hugs Mirakl. What a terrible shock.
I've had the last couple of days off work looking after the small person to give OH a chance to catch up with his orders. It's been a real roller coaster of a time really.
I kicked off by losing my purse but fortunately some kind soul found it and rang me. She was so lovely that I gave her some biccies to reward her honesty. That kind of gesture quite restores my faith in human nature.
Spent all Friday morning concocting all sorts of ghoulish Halloween food including bogie buns with minced witch on top and halloween cheese and digestive biccies [I had halloween cookie cutters tucked away which I had forgotten about] Meanwhile small person made a fantastic job of decorating the downstairs with all his bargain halloween finds he'd amassed. We had such fun.
Sat morning came down to find Twitten screaming in pain unable to stand or walk. We think she slipped down the stairs and has inflamed an arthritic joint. She had to go the emergency clinic and they had to knock her out so see what she'd done. Whilst she was out they also pulled out 6 teeth. I'm glad to say she's making a steady recovery and we can pick her up today. Bless her she was still purring- she's such a sweetheart. Fortunately we have insurance!
On the OS front- I've finished my first scarf and have started the 2nd. The mincemeat is made [and the alcoholic fumes knock me out everytime I open the fridge door!] and OH has replaced the remainder of the lights with low energy bulbs.
    Have a great afternoon
