Mirakl sending hugs your way. Husbands cousin comitted suicide last year and the devastation it causes people close to the victim is horrific to the point that you also become victims. Look after yourself
.
Slept well last night and appreciated the extra hour. Watched the Royle family last night and had perhaps a little bit too much red wine.
Back to school today, ds does not like school and so I am always nervous for him when he has to go back. He is busy making his own comic at the moment! Dd is snuggled up in my bed, she does not like the cold weather at all.
Spent yesterday afternoon not doing the jobs I was supposed to do but doing a bit of shopping on the Boots website and got some amazing deals, I'm hoping it all goes through correctly as it seemed too good to be true (kids have birthdays straight after christmas). I also posted a question on the I Wanna section and got some amazing responses about turning a photo into a canvas, one photography company charge over £1000 for a picture of your kids and yet if we take our own photo with our digital camera a guy will put it onto a canvas for £27 and fully recommended by another mse'r.... I LOVE MSE! Going to go to the park with oh next weekend and try and get a good natural photo of the kids running around and have it mounted as a christmas pressie to myself!
Loads of jobs to do today, washing, ironing, cooking a mega sausage casserole of which most is to freeze and selling some more bits on Ebay. Going to a 100th birthday on friday so need to think of an appropriate gift if there is such a thing!
Have a good day0 -
Morning everyone, Hope you all have a great os day. Big hugglies to you all.
Not had time this morning to read up, but will do later.
Got some work to do today. Lots of jobs like painting a saucepan holder, sanding down a little bargain pine table that I bought yesterday, didnt do well on the no spending money thing yesterday, but it was cheap and so sweet.
Must get down the gym today, unfortunately my years membership is up and I need to renew (more money), but I am starting to put some weight back on, after all my hard work at losing it.
Take care all xxxxPawpurrs x0 -

Not been OS-ing much lately, fallen off the wagon, sorry!
Actually, saying that I am very good with my shopping now. I do a BIG SHOP once a month & then the rest of the time just pick up bread & other fresh stuff in between. So its slowely becoming a way of life!

:grouphug:Mirakl - hugs to you - that sounds awful
 Happy new work day snowy.
I am bright and breezy in the mornings since I am on my new no drink regime(I never drank THAT much, don't worry), and healthy eating.
Kids up and dressed already. House relatively ok. Just got front room to do before mum lands at lunchtime. DD is a whizz with a duster - well, we watch the dust move around a bit. But she has fun:D .
Ordered dining room table yesterday - 14 weeks delivery:eek: Hmm So it won't be here for christmas then.
In totally non os way I bought porridge with raisins and nuts already in it on saturday - wish I hadn't. I like my porridge pure and unadulterated. Can I sit and pick the nuts and raisins out? S'pose I'm just going to have to get through it - maybe use it to make biscuits?

Morning all!
Sorry to hear about your friend, Mirakl. You must be in shock.:grouphug:
Plan to freecycle an old Braun blender as Ive just had a brand new one for my birthday.Have just sold a couple of items on Ebay and am just waiting for them to pay! Could do with the money at the moment - been overspending lately!
Plan to make HM pasta sauce for tea - carrot and sausage in tomato sauce and will use my blender for grating the carrots and will also get a farmhouse loaf going in the breadmaker.
Have a nice day everyone!0 -
Morning all - hope you had a great weekend
Sorry about your loss Mirakl
Nerves are setting in pretty bad now. I Start my new job this morning. So does my OH. Will report back later on how things went.
Had Fantastic weekend in London. Survived on 4hrs sleep. But it was well worth it. Didn't do much sight seeing, other than propping up the bar at my cousin's 21st party. It was great to see family members Ive not seen for years. And yes - as usual at a family gathering, there was arguments, huge 1 between loads of cousins from Milton Keynes. It was like something out of Jerry Springer. Thought it was hilarious.
Best jump in the shower before my babysitter arrives.
Take care all - will be bac later

Morning all
Mirakl - how dreadful - hugs
Snowy - Have a great day in your new job - hope all goes well for you.
Catowen - Fingers crossed for the doctor lotto - hope you're feeling better soon.
Lovely bright day here by the looks of it. Builder is merrily working away (a miracle he's here so early).
We've had a hectic weekend and landed with a bump last night, had a serious chat about money and stress and came to a big conclusion, I'm going to give up workI do love what I do but I just can't get enough work to make it pay, which is such a shame. DH's company move next month will mean he needs to work an extra hour a day - that extra 5 hours per week (after tax) is equivilant to what I get paid for 2 and a half weeks at the moment.....you can see what it wasn't to hard to say no when he suggested I give up. Will give me so much time for craft and OSing - I'm really looking forward to it.
On an OS note...well apart from one load of washing, we're being taken out for dinner tonight by MIL (who's also just given me a huge cheque to help out with the xmas food - lets just say there's enough to feed us for 3 months  ) Bless her.
Hope you all have a great day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Good morning all!
Mirakl - sorry to hear about your friend, and especially his daughter.
I am quite tired this morning as last night I was on & off the phone with one of my sisters - our youngest sister's DH had collapsed & had been rushed into hospital. Initially they were testing for heart attack, but finally got call at 5.30 am from youngest sis to say they were home & he had gastro flu & needs to rest.
Also my grandma, who is 98 in December, had her hand shut in a car door on Saturday, but wouldn't go to hospital til yesterday. Happily it is not broken, but is obviously very painful. My mum stayed with her last night, but she (grandma) insists she is fine this morning & doesn't need any more help!
Now we are all waiting to see what will be next! Our family has been to Broomfield hospital in Chelmsford & Colchester General hospital this weekend. We are hoping the next hospital visitor will be my niece who is expecting a baby, due 8th November.
Have a good day!0
