Morning everyone
Mirakl...I am so sorry to hear about your friend. How absolutely awful for all concerned, and for the poor man himself. Suicide has touched my family too - the devestation it leaves is beyond comprehension. Big hugs, you must be utterly shocked.
++++++++++++++++
Last night I was busy ironing my "lovely" uniform for w*** today - it is my first day, so unfortunately an end to my prolonged absence from the w***force. It'll be good to earn some dosh, though I just wish it didn't take quite so many hours!!
I don't need to be up for another three hours...so think I will go back to my bed for now.
Pink...Tilly will be fine, don't worry too much about her. BTW tell me more about this mini-meet!?!
Have a great Monday everyone.

'Morning everyone
Good morning mirakl I'm so sorry to hear of your news, it must have been a dreadful shock. Well done on doing something that will make a huge difference to others.
Did some shopping yesterday afternoon and then started to tackle the ironing - not my most loved job but it needed to be done. Hoping to get to the library this evening after w**K, I've run out of reading material (which means mostly cookery books).
Have a lovely OS day everyone

Oh Mirakl, I'm so very sorry. I have reason to understand something of what you're feeling like and I'm just so very sorry. Best wishes, and best of luck with the charity work, it sounds like a good direction for your energies.

Penelope_Penguin wrote:Hello and Welcome to N9eav and PixySu! Great to have you aboard!
N9eav, you need to come and try the charity shops in Yorkshire. They're so good, I've set myself the challenge of buying no clothes (apart from undies, shoes, and possibly a winter coat and a party outfit) from anywhere else. This week I got 4 tops, 2 sweatshirts and 2 skirts for my children for £15, and they were all perfect.
Penny. x
Thanks. The blokes section of a charity shop is usually poor anyway. But I do love the charity shops in the USA, they are amazing. The size of a small supermarket and great value.NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -

Right! Off to it. The classroom is ready thanks to DH putting in four eight hour days, and finishing the entrance, as well as all of the ceiling decorations & the black out curtains. I could do with some music to play as the children come in. We blacked out the entrance pod, and put blue LED lights in its ceiling, which gives a really good effect. I finished the Planetarium after two goes, so that's a display space on top (for a moonscape for the moon buggies their ging to design.) and a darkened reading area with a fairy light ceiling & glow in the dark planets on the walls; and its massive so several children can get in at the same time.
The planning is nearly all in place, but I get PPA time on Tuesday morning so I can finish it then. Well, I'd better get off & hang the "Magic Letter-Box" sign up, oh & feed the hound & have breakfast, and finish the ironing mountain, so good morning all, and Happy Monday!

Hi. I guess everyone is up a little earlier due to the clock thing. I have to drive 80 miles for a course soon. It means staying away all week, so no internet for me. I have not found anywhere to plug it in yet? Cheap job related accomodation!!!!!

(((((Mirakl, topgranny, Snowy))))) So, so sorry
I can also relate, close family member for me. It's not something you ever get 'over', but, in time, it's something you learn to accept; even though you may never reach a point of understanding the "why's" ((hugs)).
Yes, a big hug for his daughter from me too and sincere condolences to all who are touched by his sudden death. ((hugs))~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
