I've also got a table cruet set that has some absolutely seriously deeeeeeelicious lemon infused olive oil. It's so-o-o-oo nice that it's really hard not to sip and drink it straight from the bottle!

    :)

Straight from the bottle? I'm sure you can find a nice plate to lick it off :rotfl: ;)
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

    Happy Birthday Squeaky:beer:

My fun-packed day will include going to Wilkinson's in Droitwich to see if I can track down some Stardrops. Might drop into the library while I'm there, but will try and avoid Waitrose ;)

Frozen hm pizza for supper tonight (glad I made several bases at once last time), We're all eating at different times so I thought pizza would hold reasonably well. Kids are having tomato (actually carrot, onion, pepper and tomato) and mozzarella, and I think me and OH will have a p i s s aladiere- lots of onions stewed in olive oil with olives and anchovies. I'll sprinkle it with feta. Mmm..hungry already, better have some breakfast.

Softstuff I thought 'up north' referred to Yorkshire or similar  Do tell :D

    Have a good day everyone.

It is lovely coming down stairs in the morning to a tidy house. I bow to flylady, I really do!

I need to get the kids ready for school, do something with my hair, atm I look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards 54 times! :D

Have fun today everyone & wrap up warm. Autumn has arrived! :D

Have to rush off to railway station as DH is giving me a lift there so I can see DD in Newcastle.

Family will have to fend for themselves today and I intend to enjoy myself and browse round primark and TJHughes!

    Hugs to everyone.

Good Morning To Everyone:hello: Happy Birthday Squeaky!:bdaycake:

Chilly start to the morning here, but sun shining. Everyone is ready, done washing & ironing (good girl:A ). No OS baking as I made a bread pudding last nite and I made a quiche (which i havent done for years!) havent tasted it yet mind!!!:rotfl:

Am awaiting contact from my boss to see whether he wants me to go back to work or call it aday! (oops, i should have thought about that before i stomped off! but I never do, act first think later - dimwit!)

Got to take DS2 to doctors a.m. he's got a little lump under big toe, i thought it was a wart but its not gone with wart treatment, so see what he says it is.

Went to view a bigger house last nite thats just up the road from me. We need more room now as family is bigger but need to stay in same area for work etc. Its nice (apart from decor!) but I dont like the thought of having a mortgage for about 90K for just one extra bedroom and dining room!!
It does have a bigger garden and a hallway though and we could possible extend it to a four bedroom. Oh well see what happens......go with the flow

    Good Morning!

:o We popped the heating on this morning (just to test it! really!) and the house is really cosy now.

Have just got my first organic box with Abel and Cole so have to go decide what to do with the contents, Alfalfa  , courgettes etc.,

On Sunday I made a loaf of chocolate bread in the bm and it is yummy and easy and hits the chocolate spot (if you know what I mean) so I thought I would pop it on here:

    Chocolate Bread

    2 & 3/4 cups white bread flour
    1/4 cup cocoa powder
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup milk (warmed to a temp between 21 and 28C)
    1 medium sized egg (beaten)
    1 tablespoon butter (melted)
    4 tablespoons honey
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp yeast

Into a bowl sieve together the white bread flour, cocoa and cinnamon. Place the ingredients in the bread pan in the order in which they are listed above, adding the flour mixture after the salt and before the yeast (I followed my panasonic instructions here and put the yeast in first and flour mix on top of that and then all the other ingredients) Set the programme to basic. Or if like me you wanted to add choc chips pop the chips into the dispenser and set programme to raisin.

This is yummy spread with black cherry jam!

Recipe comes from "One Hundred bread Machine Recipes" by Vicki Smallwood which is full of lovely recipes.

I am wondering if I could make a choccy version of bread and butter pudding with it? maybe using choc chips instead of sultanas, could I make the custard a choccy one?

I apologise if this is the wrong place to put this query! (still a confused soul!)

Very chilly here but sky is pure blue and sun is shining. WM on. DD at school for the morning. DS happily playing with his cars.
Missed 2 parcels while out yesterday so have rearranged delivery for today so have to stay in for those and then take kids swimming this afternoon.
Need to clean my kitchen thoroughly today and hoover whole house.
Dinner tonight is vegetable pastry parcels with broccoli and potatoes. I'll eat with the kids so dinner has time to settle and then when DH comes home at 8PM I can go straight to the gym.
Hope you all have a good day.
