JackieO - Good news about your passport. Have a great trip!

Another day at work for me. Thank goodness I am off tomorrow and Friday. I have a ton of things to do. Managed a quick tidy up and one load of washing last night but that was all as I was late home again

My road tax is due at the end of the month and with saving the leftovers from my shopping budget and my Greasypalm funds I have enough for 1 years tax :j As we have a big car it's £175 and normally I just get 6 months (although I know it costs more) but I am so chuffed!

Must get on and finish getting ready and need to find something for dinner.

    Bye for now

Woke up really early, probably because I went to bed early......

I have been sitting here writing a list of all the things I need to get done this morning, as I'm going to see a friend in town for coffee and a natter this afternoon.
Judging by my list I shall be running around with a broom up my derriere (sp?) at the same time:eek: I have lots to do, and a mystery shop job to squeeze in too. Oh well have an extra couple of hours as I'm up so early.

I tried my new slicer/grater attacment yesterday for my Kenwood, and never has bunging a stew in the slowcooker been soo quick:j

I need to make a loaf of bread to go with beef stew for dinner tonight, and a cake to take around for coffee later.

    Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning, all. I've been up since 4am, listing stuff on Ebay as I suddenly realised that once we've paid the rent, we've got three days before any more money comes in - and a weekly shop to try and finance on the first day! So, hopefully, my Ebay activities will provide a bit of cash to tide us over those few days. Cross your fingers for us!

Aside from that, I have DS's red indian costume all fixed up for tomorrow and now need to turn my attention to creating his Wolf costume for next week. Thank goodness he's got some brown cord trousers!

Made low fat fishcakes for tea last night - they were fab, especially with some sweet chilli dip! I made them in two instalments, as it was school parents' evening, so I got the potato/onion/parsley mixture ready, then added the fish and oven baked them, when we got back.

DS's teacher gave a glowing report of his conduct at school, which was very gratifying to hear. We know he's a cherub at home, so its nice to hear he carries it on in school. :A

Today I have to get some chicken breasts into the SC for dinner tonight and run around with the vac. Then I must buckle down and get on with creating a card for my nephew's birthday tomorrow! Hopefully, if I get it in the post today, it'll get to him in time. Fingers crossed.

Ooops - time is marching on and I should be getting DS's packed lunch ready. Hope all have a great day .. and Happy Birthday, Squeaky!!
:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:
