Morning everyone

Still feeling good after my week away which is just as well as the children were up at various times during the night.

Mum is coming over this morning so we can go Christmas shopping for the children and so dh can sort out my Dad's computer for him. I have a food delivery coming lunchtime and then this afternoon ds has a friend coming over and we are taking them and dd to a halloween party. It is spooky dress but dd 2yr old is insisting on going as a princess rather than a witch and ds is going as a skeleton and his friend as a vampire, I will just go as myself, that ought to scare the children ! I have some facepaints so will attempt to put some of those on them.

Os wise I have washing to do, ironing will have to wait until tomorrow. Dinner is going to be a chicken curry and I am about to go and make a bacon sarnie for breakfast as it is a family favourite.

Morning All!

We have 4 extra children staying overnight, and they all slept - or were quiet, at least! One has just left, as her mother has insisted that she goes to swim club. She's not happy!

Off to the theatre again (Thoroughly Modern Millie) as DH has been awarded tickets and a meal (and taxi) for a project he's done a w***. Very moneysaving! DS is off so stay with a friend tonight, and DD off to Guide camp (in a building, not under canvas, this time). I'm looking forward to it, as DH and I will have time to talk - in the taxi at least!

Bored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway what do I do????? I have been away all week on a course. So at the weekend I need to get jobs done. But the family are bored and expect to go out! Do I let everything go for another week and go out or be boring and stay home and tidy up he garden, garage, fix things etc......?

*yawn* Morning!

Wow, im exhausted already! Helicopter flew over the house and decided to hover over us for half an hour at 1am, it even scared the cat it was so loud. Needless to say I couldnt sleep through it and now im thoroughly pooped.

W*** today, only till 3 though. We have new neighbours moving in today which should be interesting, hopefully they will be nice and friendly! Aside from that, not much planned for the afternoon as OH will be at work, I guess ill just have a bit of a tidy up and then relax with a book for the afternoon. I might apply for a few jobs too, or at least update the cv.

Anyhoo, must dash or ill be late!

Morning all! JW I know what you mean about helicopters, the police heli near here seems to specialise in low flying at night, makes a terrible racket. Last night some charmers decided to let off fireworks at about three in the morning :mad: , I love fireworks but wish people would just stick to November 5th, my poor cat spends about a fortnight in terror at this time of year.

Not many OS plans today, I'm singing in a concert tonight so have to [STRIKE]waste[/STRIKE] spend the afternoon rehearsing. This morning will be taken up with flapping round looking for my music folder, ironing my choir gear and primping.

Breakfast: Boiled egg and toast I think
Lunch: OH will probably sneak out for fish and chips
Dinner: prob nothing as I won't be here

Good morning Everyone!!

Looks cold and chilly outside here, but have to get up and out to football later.

This afternoon got loads of bits to sort, DH hanging one of my new internal doors, got to go pick up a xmas pressie i have on reserve at argos as offer finishes tommorow.

Planing on doing stew for tea and may make a onion bread in Bm to go with it.

Morning all! Not a great night sleep again; my brain just won't shut off.
Got to get the shopping done today - won't take long with my £9.21 left in my October grocery challenge. Os wise, have kitchen to clean up, bedding to change on our bed - did kids yesterday- and want to run the hoover over the upstairs.
Need to make sausage rolls for lunch boxes next week and only have 3 sausages left. Could pad them out with some sage & onion, I guess - maybe a grating of apple to pretend they're posh. Oh to have money!
OH has to sort out central locking on the car. Back doors have jammed. DS tried to open door while he was unlocking and it didn't like it. Hope that's not gonna be more money. Had to climb over the front seats last night to get in.
Well, off for my boiled egg and soldiers.

Good morning everyone,

Well, i can join the lack of sleep brigade today, i even went up early and read for a while, in hope that would help, but no.
DS has a football match this morning which im still hoping will be cancelled (although it isnt raining anymore, so maybe not ) Ive finished taking all my antibiotics, but my cough still hasnt gone, so will prob have to go back on Monday, so standing in a cold, muddy field isnt the best thing for me, but it is the only thing we have planned today, so will spend the rest of the weekend taking it easy (alhough i really do need to hoover upstairs today!!!)
Well, they are the only plans so far, will be making HM pizza for dinner. Think i have some bacon in the fridge, so maybe baon butties at lunchtime!!!!
to anyone who needs one (ive finally worked out how to insert those smilies, taken me weeks!!!!) and hope that everyone has a lovely day.

hi, have decided need to post here regularly to keep me/get me on straight and narrow!! DH at rugby today so gone and not back til 9pm!! have dd2 (1 1/2)with chicken pox so not sure what will get done. Have emptied dw and put going again, and put rubbish and recycling going. Am hoping to get some washing going now. I am not very good at housework/housekeeping but am part way through getting my file done. so might get some of that done tongight when dds in bed.

Morning All

It oh so quiet still here, but that proberbly cause DD has been awake on and off all night. I'm up feeling alittle bleary and wraped in the sofa throw thats not covered in cat hair.

Plan for the day is get through the washing mountain and make some meals for the freezer. At some point I need to nip to SIL to take back the ironing press she lent me but its so good I dont want to.

Thats about all, have a good day everyone
