    Morning

W*r* for me today unfortunately (or really fortunately else we'd have to be even more OS to make ends meet - must think of it that way.)

Maybe if I try a new mantra.....
    W*** is good , w*** is good
nope not working, still don't want to go.

    Kids off to grandma's

Feeling a bit down today. Didn't think I would be. It's 3 years today since my little girl was stillborn (ugg hate that word). and from now 'til 5th november I won't stop thinking about it (if I'm anything like last year). I just want this bit of the year over and done with. there are so many dates she's associated with - the day I realised she wasn't there, the day she was "born" (today) the day of the funeral. DH hasn't said anything but he was giving out extra cuddles this morning so I think in his way he's thinking about it too.

Any way sorry to burden you with that. But "real life" people don't want to hear these things. At least I can't see you all get awkward and look away etc....:o

Well. Started my household manual last night (Moggins would be proud) I bought "cut the clutter" and it pretty much says the same things as moggins. So I've started. Another mantra - this household will be organised! well, more organised than it is today.

Slugs back though. Cleaned the floor with an ordinary floor cleaner last night. The night before I used stardrops. I was joking originally, but it must've been the stardrops they didn't like. I've run out so must head to Asda to get more.

    Hello Chums ,
((((peem))) I feel for you my dear I too had a stillborn and it's always ther at the back of your mind.Mine was 40 odd years ago so you never forget. Take care and have lots of cuddles from your DH.
I hope all who are feeling blue today and need a hug get one .

I am feeling a bit cheesed off as I have to go to the podiatry clinic today .I damaged my nail on my big toe and I have to have a minor op. to have it removed this morning .Not looking forward to that ,still I suppose to look on the bright side I'll save on nail varnish as I'll only have 9 to paint instead of ten ! My sis-in-law is staying this week to look after me as I shall have to sit with my leg up for a couple of days Grrr I hate being waited on , plus of course I can't drive for a bit. My youngest little grandson was on the phone last night and bless him he's only 2 and a bit and he kept saying , 'where is you granny? whys you not come to see my house' I could eat him he is so lovable .My daughter is keeping her tribe od five out of the way in case they tread on my sore foot. But I do miss them especially the little one . Still it'll soon heal and I'll be back on my pins again.
Will try to do some knitting this afternoon to take my mind off it for awhile ,or maybe some card-making. Hope everyone has a good day ,still not put the heating on yet
    cheers folks

    Good morning OSers *waving*

((((Peem)))) Thinking of you. And completely understand about the real life support thing and how online can offer a different kind of support when you need it. Hugs for anyone else wanting them too xx

Eye infection nearly cleared up, arm still in splint and looks like it will be forever *grumbling* but I can't afford to stop typing and I am NOT having an operation so I can live with an achy arm.

OS plans for today are shopping list for the fresh bits I need for my party *bouncing* and then finishing woodwork in my kitchen - it's amazing what a lick of paint will do to freshen something up. Although it was shocking to find what I THOUGHT was white woodwork was actually very yellow woodwork - urrrrgh! I've got LOADS of stuff to freecycle so I really should sort that out as well while I'm working from home.

One good thing about woking from home is that there is even less chance of spending any money - I love the days where my purse doesn't even get opened :T

Have a good day everyone xx

Nothing remarkable to report - just wanted to say (((Peem))). Virtual hugs can be just as good as real ones.
(Oh, and a virtual *wince* for JackieO - you're a big brave girl now :D)

The only other vaguely OS thing to report is we're having the last freezer portion of CQ's curry sauce made into chicken korma tonight.

Have a lovely day, bye

    Good Morning All

    (((Peem)))

Late start again this morning, thankfully wont feel too bad going back to routine next week as clocks go back. So far have - 1 load of washing in (didnt get much done yesterday afterall) dw emptied, have showered and washed hair - drying naturally then will straighten it yesterday. When DD has finished her breakfast will then tidy kitchen and wipe counters.

Will then start the ironing whilst continuing to feed the wm and td. Have loads to do.

We all have a dentist check up at 2pm which doesnt seem to bad but the dentist is nearly 1 hour away! We have budgeted for an early tea after at a pub nearby which also has a play area - hopefully DD isnt too tall.

Then when return home will be doing more ironing and waiting for Tescos to come between 7 and 9pm- hopefully they will be on time that time of night as last couple of times have been nearly half hour late.

So not particualy the nicest of days but could be worse.

Hope you all have a good one.

(((Skystar))) - I hate customers too!

    Morning all

I woke up this morning to the cat standing on me demanding I wake up again, and with an awful pain in my neck - I think ive pulled a muscle sleeping funny or something.

I was in a foul mood yesterday as I forgot to cancel a standing order which took me overdrawn which has really screwed me up as now my money is in banking cyberspace that they 'cant' call back and ive today had some direct debits go out which has put me overdrawn again! I went to the bank yesterday and put the a/c back to zero as thats all I had in the food account, and it hasnt helped that my payroll screwed everything up for me too as there would normally be enough to cover incidences such as these. I now have to go raid every account we have to put some cash in again to bring it back to zero, and im terrified that im now going to get charged twice as I really cant afford it this month.

I was just getting back on financial track and had a plan and everything to clear the rest of my debts and now this happens. I feel like screaming.

Anyhoo - last night I used the calender function to organise my day today to get stuff done as I did nothing yesterday and I broke it down into hourly 'appointments' and put in what I have to be doing that hour. I planned 9-10am as internet browsing though!

I think it might be very helpful in keeping me focused on a task as I have a habit of wandering around in circles all day long and never feel like im really getting there. I have given myself a couple of hours this evening for me - so i can take a long bath, read a book, and get an early night. The thought of work tomorrow is really depressing - Monday was a really bad day work wise and the move to another branch doing my old job is really unsettling and im making a lot more mistakes than I used to through the stress of it. Im seriously tempted to go to the doctors and get him to sign me off as I feel like I simply cannot cope anymore but that wouldnt look good to any potential employers and i have to find a new job.

Anyway - ill stop whingeing now - im just having a bad week and feeling very sorry for myself!

Right - im off for a browse till 10 then the clean house plan begins. Have a much better day than im having all!

  • Morning everyone

(((((((((((peem))))))))))))) and to all those in need

Well, I'm still off work and am sleeping around 10 hours a day. I have absolutely no energy or appetite and constantly feel spaced out. This is the strangest 'cold' I've ever had. Don't think its flu as I've had that and literally couldn't move for a week, this I've had for 3 weeks now. I'm guessing its a viral type thing

Anyhoo, didn't really do much yesterday and today will probably be the same TBH. Luckily the house is clean and tidy and OH has plenty of ironed shirts for work.

I'm having to force food down at the moment, managed half a sandwich, half a can of soup and a banana yesterday. Am aiming for a bit more today as I think not eating properly is not helping:

    B - Cheerios
    L - Prob Soup
    D - ??

Have a good day everyone xx
Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!
