you are such a lovely Mum ... mine are clearing their clutter (with occasional instructions bellowed by yours truly) and I've been skinning nuts between browsing
I was far from being a lovely Mum yesterday, I was called boring about 20 times.I just wish I had the level of 'laid back-ness' that my DDs and Mr Frizz possess. All I kept thinking was "warm fluffy duvets, hot water bottles, shelter"
Surely I am not the only person at AT yesterday that was thinking "I am NOT enjoying this"
Shez, sorry to hear your having a low day - I can't imagine an OS Daily thread without gorgeous Mr Darcy grinning back. :drool:Only 5% of those who can give blood, actually do!

Hello everyone!
Haven't been on here for a few days as Ive been busy and also a certain relative is driving me MAD!!! I shan't bore you with the details but I feel like selling up and moving across the country and out of their way!!! They know I suffer with stress and depression and yet act as though I sit at home waiting for someone to give me something to do!!!
Ive managed to hoover, take dogs for a walk, make bread, make banana bread (yum!) as well as giving the above person a lift. Just want to chill and watch Coronation Street tonight (and hope I don't get another phone call!)
Sorry for going on and hugs to those who are having a bad time!0 -
Evening all
Not had chance to read the full thread tonight but hugs to all those poorly ones and to those feeling left out.
Nothing OS at all today - or yesterday!!! Doing the "hotel" thing with DH whilst I have the chance without DDs. Last nights hotel was lovely - all brand new and shiney with very good food, tonights hotel in The Wirral isn't so good - a bit tired and we seem to have a room that backs on to the outlet fans from the kitchen so it's a little on the smelly side......will pop in for a drink in a bit and see what their menu is like but think we might go a bit further afield.
DD's sobbed on the phone last night because they're missing us - almost broke my heart  Don't they just have the knack of making you feel guilty!
Have a lovely evening all - I'm off to put on a skirt and my posh boots and enjoy this expense account!!!"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Shez-We love ya:D ...OS wouldnt be the same without you:p .....come on girl...chin up!!
OH has done quite abit today and trying to keep DD occupied too. 3 washloads have been done, drawers in the kitchen sorted, DW emptied, hoovered the car out and clothes put away upstairs. He also popped to get DD some storage boxes for her room and went on a DAZ expidition (sp) to find some coupons. They came back with 2 boxes £1.69 each, both with a £5 voucher inside them:eek:   ...im surprised they didnt get kicked out the local co-op:rotfl:
Hope evryone is ok.

I did use my slow cooker and made a sort-of chicken stew - it went down a treat and the meat was really tender so I'm using it again very soon, sausage casserole tomorrow me thinks!!!
Have a good evening all and see you tomorrow xxIf you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -

Sorryyou *know* I'm talking about me chestnuts
Between you two, taplady's "touching up" and Pooky's "doing the hotel thing with dh .. " perhaps this thread needs an 18+ rating!!
frizz - blimey, you mean you haven't yet taught them the other 11 different ways of saying 'boring' ??Tut, tut, shame on you!
bargain babe - Delighted you enjoyed your chicken in the SC :T Especially as it's encouraged you to try some more:T

Well, my last task of the day will be sitting watching Eastenders with the lads and sifting through a basketful of ironing making it look all attractive in six piles: mine, theirs, household; needs to be ironed, ought be ironed and ok I'll iron it only if you force me.
Then it'll be a candle lit soak, slide into fresh linen bed with Jonathan Strange et al.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Back again!
Forgot to put baking powder in my plain brown flour(no SR) when I made the weetabix cake so its not risen at all! am glad really as DH has just upset me with several comments about my weight so feel really p****d off at the moment:mad:
I know I need to diet as I've put a stone back on but dont need to be reminded of it. He's no light weight either!Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Evening all, i am just off to bed now.
Went to docs this morning re depression etc and she has said she will see me in a month which is good coz it was every two weeks. I was suicidal and the docs were keeping close eye on me. I had packed all my stuff so that my family would not have to do it after I had gone but now i have taken it all to a carboot sale and sold it she seems to think that i am on the mend. I did keep a few sentimental things. The meds are doing their job and I am a lot more sane now and rational.
Fell asleep this afternoon whilst knitting scarf!!!!
Mainly had a good day though. Wonder if I will have any doggy puddles tomorrow morning to start the day.
Good night all.
Hugs to those who need them.
