Good morning all
I've not posted for a while as I've been quite down with back pain and arthritis both playing up. Had a week on hols in Portugal and it was lovely, just what I needed.
On the OS front, yesterday I made a huge batch of Curry Queen's curry sauce and tarka dahl and that's all portioned up and in the freezer. Also made a big batch of savoury mince in the slow cooker and froze that so I'm now feeling quite virtuous and smug.:D Plan for today is to give my office the flylady treatment. It's very untidy and not too clean:o . I find it really difficult to work when surrounded by mess and dust so off I go!
Hope everyone has a good day and those who are poorly soon feel better.

WOOHOO!!!! Got through to the doctors, and have actually got an appointment with MY DOCTOR THIS MORNING!!!!! Actually, we have a really good doctors surgery, dont have the problems that a lot of people have, but really pleased i being seen so quickly, but i guess this is where they tell me its just a cough and there is nothing they can do for me!!!!
Right, off to do something before we have to go,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Good morning to all.
I got up this morning to find one of my dogs has peed on the kitchen floor. Seems to be a bit of a trend on here this morning. Is it the cold or the fireworks making them lazy/scared I wonder?
Got up later due to half term, so just had toast and tea. DD3 has gone off to play at a friends and I have an appt with phsyciatrist this morning to monitor my depression and meds. Deep joy.
Had step daughter to lunch yesterday, tricky coz we had not seen her in ages and the last time she was due to come she didn't and said that she was not comfortable around me. However, she seemed happy to take my gifts and supplies for her new home and she got me a bunch of flowers. So maybe things are improving.
Still not very OS but trying. DH keeps leaving phone charger on when not connected so he is contributing to global warming and the electricity bill!!!! I am trying very hard with the switching off but I am the only one in a household of 6!!!!!
Have a good day all. Love and hugs to all that need it (and to those who think they don't).

Good morning all.
I have a doctor's appointment too. Will find out whether I need to go back into hospital for more IV antibiotics. I'm feeling hopeful so fingers crossed!
Other jobs are to go back into town to get a game changed that I bought last week. It was half price but that's no good if it's broken. Grrr. Taking DS out to play, getting some more Christmas shopping done and doing the hoovering and upstairs dusting.
Dinner is broth made in the slow cooker. Lunch will depend on what I can face as I'm trying to come off the anti sickness pills. (More fingers crossed!)
Have a good day everyone. Hugs to those who need them.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
Morning all,
I hope all you poorly people feel better soon, I am finally rid of my cold - after 4 weeks - so lets see what else I can get, especially now its half term and I have the week off for all things OS, (sorry to everyone who still has to work).
My cats have not left little presents for me - not that I can find anyhow, I think it must be the fireworks that set off all your pets, there are tons at the moment.
The slow cooker is definately being used today, I am just not sure whether to cook chicken or sausage casserole! It will be one of the two. I am so disorganised - at home and at work - I will have a good clear out and clean this week - kids aren't impressed, they would rather go on trips out - you know the kind, zoo, alton towers etc. Told them if everything gets sorted we may do something, i'm thinking more along the lines of crimble shopping!!!
I really hope everyone starts to feel better soon and has a good day. take care xxxxIf you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -

Good Morning All
Horrible weather here - cat is out somewhere so lucky I havnt got to deal with any cat wee on the floor! No other pets to worry about.
Forcast is horrible - planned to go to the Zoo but we have revised our plans and are going shopping today. DD desperately needs new jeans/combats but is very difficult to buy for as she is soo tall and slim and most trousers for her age fall down. Also plan to pick up the last pressies for the inlaws so they are all done and will wrap them up next week when life back to normal again.
Therefore will be having a very non os lunch out - KFC!
When get home will start going my business admin work. Probably will have jackets or omelettes for tea. So not much os here today, hopefully will make up for it tomm morning.
Hope you have a great day, (((hugs))) for anyone who needs them0 -
:hello: Gooooooooooood Mornink fellow Oldies
Yesterday's match was yet another lose for d12yo in terms of score, (2-1) but I was sooooooo proud of his efforts and particularly proud of the team (this is their first ever season!) The other team are top of the league, so the score, in reality, is pretty impressive. The 'others' were animals in a kit and have clearly only attained their league status through poor sportsmanship, aggression and dirty tactics! Our striker was elbowed in the face TWICE, lots of shirt pulling and aggressive threats going on  Our team? Ignored it, gave it their best and were by far and away good sportsman in both game play and attitude :T :T
Standing for 2hrs with our backs to the persistent rain doesn't quite come under my description of "entertainment" and sitting down to drive home when the back of your jeans are 'soggy' is not on my 'wishlist' of things to do before I die! However, a full length, waterproof coat now is
This week has been declared: Clean it up, clutter out week! One bedroom has to be thoroughly de-cluttered ready to become d12yo's personal space and that in turn means the other bedroom he's vacating needs doing too and will become d11yo's personal space. They've reached the age where they no longer wish to spend more time than is absolutely necessary breathing each other's 'air' :rotfl: They are very motivated, more so than me. Got some old duvets that need to go to the textile recycling bucket.
gingin - I was also looking forward to Prime Suspect last night ... got as far as the DNA results .... woke up sometime after midnight and dragged my body off to bed. I'll have to watch the repeated version next Saturday on ITV3.
Have a huge bag full of chestnuts to boil up today and will be magically transformed into Chestnut Soup, Chestnut Stuffing for the freezer for Christmas but mainly will be pureed (unsweetened) and frozen in batches.
Decorated the porch last night with our stash of Halloween decorations to get into the spirit of things (excuse the pun!). Decided that as rain is forecast for the whole of this week, it would add to the atmosphere, however, it's beautiful sunshine outside right now and clear blues skies
SOMO1 - (((hugs)))
