Afternoon all
well I have a stinking cold and sore throat. Think I may have found out why I've been such a grumpy B*tch all week. Sorry to you all - I know I have taken some of it out on here.:o
Just dug out my old facial analysis diet - I need to do something serious before Christmas kicks in. It's pretty strict - but that's what I need. Family meals are all pretty much sorted for the week and sitting in the freezer, so I don't have any excuse not to stick to things. wish me luck.
Beautiful day here - truly autumnal.
Going to hang more washing out. Wake up DD. Then walk to shop to get some butter and then come home and make banana bread with bananas which are hanging around (I won't be eating it - bananas are not good for my type apparently - but i love them:o )

throwing it down here now so the garden plans are out........
Went to the garden centre though to get some winter pansies and they were having a big craft fair which was lovely to wander round and waste some more dry weather time! Once in the garden centre though I couldnt believe it - it had been transformed into a Christmas grotto with Boney M and Cliff Richard on loop:mad: - I know a lot of you are planning Christmas now but this was way way over the top for October imho. I just pity the staff listening to that for the next couple of months
anyway just managed to get the pansies in their rightful places before the rain came so at least thats done.
Nice smells from the "Nelski Chuck it all in and hope for the best" SC so fingers crossed - full report later

We have phoned DH's friend's neighbours to let them know that he is still at the hospital morgue after nearly three weeks!
DH went in to say "goodbye" to him and I am glad that someone did - cannot bear to think of him"neglected" if youknow what I mean.
Wish his friend had had a good woman to take care of him - or even a bad one !
We had a huge cooked breakfast today and then took DD back to uni. Had a Chinese buffet (all you can eat) at Wok Mania which is at the Gate in Newcastle - £4.50 a head!!
Can thoroughly recommend the place.
Got bedding changed and just had a nice hot shower so feel more human.
Hugs to everybody.

Good morning *bleary eyed* I just went to post in Monday's daily thread and it's not there yet  so am tacking this onto Sundays..................
I can't sleep! What's that about? For weeks now I have Sunday Night Insomnia - I think it's because of work in the morning, kinda like that going back to school feeling, not nice. Which is crazy this week because I'm working from home
Had a very productive day yesterday? today? Ah, I don't know. Painted half the kitchen - ohhhh the muck that came off me walls was no one's business! Thank flip for sugar soap. And did 2 loads of washing. And cooked lovely roasty dinner which DS said he wasn't hungry enough to eat and then proceeded to finish all bar a few carrots
Plan for today? tomorro? Monday is to try and squeeze some cleaning in around the working from home then take DS to docs as his foot has an infection and looks like it's going to drop off! Not nice

Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
Morning!
Im shattered this morning, I didn t get too much sleep last night because i took a nap on the sofa at 9pm for an hour, so my sleep was really disjointed and I kept waking up. Have to go to the dreaded place of employment today and suffer a busy Monday when i want to stay in bed and do not a lot. I actually relaxed yesterday and didnt do much o/s, which was strange - I lounged around and watched tv. OH was pleased because apparently I dont know how to relax!
Oh well, Ill get on with the cleaning tomorrow as I have another day off woohoo!
Hope you all have a lovely day!

Morning, JW! Was beginning to think I was the only one around here today!
Well, I had a great birthday on Friday - thank you all for your pressies and cakes! We had a lovely pub lunch then a walk around Jeffery Bog, which was well named on that day. I fell over in the mud, but luckily had my big jumper around my waist, so that got muddy rather than me. DD's boots were slathered in mud, and twice as big when we got back to the car as when we started out.
DD is off to the dentist today, 9am so no worrying all day. She had an x-ray last time and one of her adult teeth is missing. Not a problem, but the baby tooth above it has worn down, and now has nothing to push it out. The dentist's view is that if we whip it out now, her other teeth will move and fill the gap nicely.
Then it's the great Kitchen Drawer challenge with DS! Don't know what we might find there.
JW, sorry about your fish ((((hugs)))))
Nix, hope your son's foot is OK (see, we do read the last thread of yesterday!!)
Topher, can I be in your class, please, miss, pleeeeeeeeeeeeease, pickme, pickme!
Rchddap, great to see you back!
Have a great day, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Its my last week at work before I start on my holiday / maternity before bean puts in an appearance. Sigh. Feels very strange and sad to think that this will be my last Monday working for who knows how long.
As a result I'm not doing much at the moment. Because I'm letting things pile up for next week. That includes washing, a bit of cooking, cleaning, and more importantly a huge pile of pressies that I need to sort out for Xmas. Car will also need a service next week some time and I have a maternity appointment to go to.
Hope everyone had a good weekend and hugs to those who needs them.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Morning folks
Just a quick post as leaving for work in 5 mins.
Went out with friends on Saturday night and got a bit worse for wear
Result: Sunday totally written off as I felt so rough.
This means tonight after work I need to get some washing and possibly ironing done and a quick tidy up.
Well must dash
Have a great day everyone0 -
Morning all,
It might be half term holidays but try telling DD that!
Was logged on at about 5.30am (due to DD getting up far too early) but no one around so went & had some toast with HM jam and sent O/H packing to earn some pennies.
Haven't got anything planned for the kids today, will just go with the flow and see what happens.
Have a lovely day, take care
