Morning everyone
alas Queenie not a good night for me been up since 4
Well yesterday was a good day for me I was in a bit of pain from my joints but I was determined not to let it stop me and with the help of ds1 (15) we cleaned out alll the kitchen cupboards moved the kitchen around and threw out lots of junk and only have a little bit left to do in there as I want to get the walls and paintwork washed so hopefully that will be done today
the other jobs I need to do make some rolls finish the washing and drying it tipped it down here yesterday so I had to use the dryer
need to find something for dinner so I may take the opportunity to tidy the freezer at the same time
Elona sorry to hear about your loss ((hugs))

Good morning early birds, and all who follow.
Good luck to queenies ds at the footy today, we were in the same position with ds3 last season, they only won one match all season despite trying so hard, the other team must have thought we were barmy the day we did win the match, we celerbrated as is they had just won the premiership!!!!
Got a funday to set up and help run today in aid of ds3 footy team, hoping rain holds off as the dads are doing a fancy dress footy match!! Dh is going as fred flintstone!!!! Then have to leave them to it whilst i take ds1 to his afternoon kick off!! Then.... we are off to skeggy tonight to vist my MIL only for the night as DH is only off until Wed.
And if i survive all that then ill be happy!!!!
Hope you all have a more peacful less hectic day than me!! Off to do a cooked breaky to keep us all going through the mayhem!!
Catch up when i get back on tues!!

Elona, that's terrible news for you and your DH, you poor things :grouphug:
Good morning OSers! It's dark and gloomy here as well this morning although my hungry little pusscat seems unable to distinguish between dark and light, it's going to be fun when the clocks go back (is it next weekend? I think it might be) and so got me up with demands for breakfast at 6.30.
Had a lovely day yesterday, went shopping with DD22, she got a few tops and a pair of jeans but couldn't find a coat she liked, I treated her to lunch out which was nice. Spent yesterday afternoon actually doing some sewing for a change (instead of reading about it or playing on the computer!) and then last night we all went to a fantastic jazz concert in a village church not far from here. Was wonderful. Got home at about 11.30 so quite a long day out for this ancient old crock but a good day anyway.
Not sure how today will work out, depends on what everyone else is doing I suppose. Have a delicious hunk of beef sitting in the fridge so will be making a huge roast dinner later, I only bother to do a roast when one or both of the children are home these days so a treat for everyone.
Breakfast: Probably toast or porridge
Lunch: HM soup
Dinner: Roast beef, Yorkshire puds and as many vegetables as I can pile onto the plates.
Queenie, my OH will probably not thank you for the excuse to buy more fabric:rotfl:
Have a great day, everyone!

Yes, clocks go back 29th October
Tell your dh I've got broad shoulders:laugh: - then, explain that a woman's need for fabric is the equivalent to a man's need for oxygen
dlb - Yes, I truly understand why winning would provoke such a reaction  Hope Fred does well in his fun run :T :T Have fun in Skeggy, wishing you a safe journey
Furbaby fed, feathered friends topped up. BM almost ready to beep at me (I'll shall imagine it's frugalfairy's dh talking to me: beep-beep-beeeeeeep ).
Boys still in slumberland so all in all, a good morning!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

good morning everyone.
It's my daugthers 3rd birthday today , so i'm trying to get the house sorted for her party . i've been battled agaaisht the wind and rain outside to put up the ballons.
i made a boohbah birthday cake last nihgt. ok not as good a s a shop bought one. but i made it all from scratch and prob only cost about a pound to make so very pleased with that.
food wise today hardly anything o/s tbh. although i have made some rice crispie cakes and hm sausage roll'.s plus i'm making loads of sandwiches in a bit. so that counts.
after today i'm going to work out my meal plan for the week. see if i can get organized again.
hope everyone enjoys there day.0 -
Hi, making christmas presents today as the weather is going to be bad, got the sewing machine ready to make some shopping bags out of glittery demin and some mock snakeskin plastic material.
If the weather stays fine for a while a nice long walk on the beach with the dog, followed by roast dinner and maybe if its gets cold light a real fire this evening.0 -
Morning All,
((((Elona.))))
Kids slept until 8, which was lovely, have stripped their beds so need to get some washing on in a sec. DH due home shortly unless he goes to the gym, couldn't get hold of him last night so not sure what his plans are, every time I rang he was on a shout so he may well be tired today and have to sleep in which case I shall take the kids out.
Went for a lovely walk in the woods yesterday, kids loved it. We saw so many different kinds of mushrooms. I also found loads of blackberries, dead by now obviously, but at least I know where to go next year. What a waste though.
OS today, not sure. Will make a loaf shortly and some pizza dough for calzones, little bit of housework then spend time with kids. DS is becoming addicted to his 360 so come tommorrow kids will be told only 2 hours of computer/360/TV time each day. Sure I'll be popular tommorrow and I'm sure getting DH to monitor it whilst I'm at work will be even more fun but needs must.
Right off to have a cup of tea. Have a lovely day all.

Good morning everyone,
(((Elona)))
Better nights sleep for me, but still spent the evening coughing, and still coughing this morning!!!! Its starting to hurt my throat now, so i think i can justify going to the doctors tomorrow (if i can get an appt!!!!) this cough has been dragging on for over a month now, but pointless going to the doctors to be told there is nothing they can do.
Anyway, plans for today are to be really lazy, will be putting the WM and BM on, and have a lovely piece of pork for sunday lunch, but thats it, we are staying in and vegging out!!! Mind you, i do have the ingredients for an xmas cake out in the kitchen (the first one i made was a bit of a disaster) so might get DD to help me with that one, if we feel like it!!!
No football (apart from the ones on the telly) today, but DSs team won again yesterday (still unbeaten since Feb) and have been told they will be in the top league when they goto the under 11s next year (11 a side then as well) so we are all really proud of them. Hope all the boys (and girls) playing footie today have a good time, and good results.
Right, off for a late breakfast, hope everyone has a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0
