    Morning All

Thank-you for all the Birthday Wishes.

I have had a lovely morning so far, DD gave me a wonderful present as she didint wake up till 9am. DH has decorated the lounge with banners and balloons. So far I have received a new digi camara, flowers, chocs and PJ's off DD and DH. Also apparently we are out for a meal tonight somewhere I have wanted to go to for ages but always thought it was to expensive. My dad is babysitting.

No OSing today apart from the obligatory wash load have to get that done otherwise it starts to mount up

    Have a good day everyone

    um.

My first internet shopping from Asda should arrive today (nothing OS about that, I know!) but it means I can get on with housework!

    I

my friend has just started shopping online with asda and says she is saving a fortune. no impulse buys. being able to check whats in the cupboard as you shop. she is also quite a distance from the supermarket so although there is a charge for delivery ..she saves on petrol and has now got her saturday morning back.

    Happy Birthday Joanna's mum

    Welcome Bargain Babe

    Not much on today

going to try spag bol in the SC. Sticking to my trusted recipe-but SC means I can go out with kids and not worry about getting in 2 hours before dinner.

Off looking at dining room tables. Will take kids on metro as they then see it as a day out rather than being bundled in the car

take care all and have a good 'un

    Many Happy Returns Joannasmum

Despite getting up at 7am this morning have done nothing - dont know where the time has gone! Have managed 1 load of washing in the machine & many more to go but may have to stop halfway thro as dont think will have enough drying room - weather is miserable here today.

Children have already started arguing  I cant tolerate that for a week! They are having a lazy one today as DS doesnt have football and DD only has riding lesson at 12. Plans for next week are already changing as we were plannning to go to pleasurewood hills on monday but according to the website its closed  so need to have a rethink. Its so much harder nowdays trying to please both children.

Anway need to get on - will go and empty dw and tidy kitchen - need to do a quick hoover downstairs and then do some filing which is a couple of hours worth. Plan for this afternoon is to iron in front of the telly. No idea as yet what is for lunch and dinner so need to sort that out too.

Hope you all have a great weekend.
  • Happy Birthday Joannasmum.

Not posted for ages, still lurk though;)

Well it is half term at last. The kids were hyper last week which made for interesting days.

Plans for today, if i can ever get off the computer and get dressed are

Loads of washing ( 2nd load on now, 1 hung outside)
    Sort out my wardrobes.
    Tidy up
    Maybe a bit of gardening.

Tea for tonight is HM burgers, HM cajun wedges, corn on the cobs and a strawberry cheesecake.

Hope you all have a relaxing saturday,

     morning peeps

Having a quick skive on here imbetween a very boring w*r* project. Very busy time for me at the moment which does usually mean going to 6 or 7 day working weeks but Ive had a great year holiday wise this year so I need to keep going back to my memories of that to keep going:rolleyes:

Anyway I am going to finish early today and head off to Cheshire Oaks where I may just grab a few bargains before attending my god daughters 11th birthday party. (I wont say dgd in case you think I have aged a bit and have a darling grand daughter:eek: :D ) . She has chosen to have it at one of those chinese eat all can buffets at cheshire oaks which is soo much better than all those previous years birthdays when she had wanted Wacky Warehouses or similar! Problem is her growing up has also meant she has requested no pressies this year just money. I absolutely hate doing this so I have compromised for her birthday but im afraid for Christmas she is defo getting a present not just a boring envelope which doensnt allow for bargain hunting:rotfl:

At least I can maybe pick some other pressies up at cheshire oaks before the party (even if they are just for me!!)

Right best get back to work I suppose have a great day all and a big Happy Birthday to Joannesmum:beer: hope you really enjoy your treat tonight

    Good afternoon weekend OSers! *waving*

Happy Birthday Joannesmum! Enjoy your day and your lovely meal this evening

Well this is my one post before I go and sugar soap the walls in my kitchen prior to slapping a coat of white paint on - can't afford to do it properly yet but I figured a quick freshening up wouldn't hurt and I have the paint anyway. With the new light fitting I bought in my pre OS days (do you know, I am noticing how often I am saying that recently - gawd, I was SOOOOO bad with my plastic, it's shocking to look back on it but good to know it's stopped - onwards and upwards Nixy, no looking back!) it should make the kitchen slightly less hovel-like for my influx of guests next week - bouncing like a lunatic about having my friends here for my birthday party!

Have a wonderful day and for those of us watching X Factor later - wooo hoo! It's the only thing I turn the telly on for these days and I love that I don't have a favourite yet - kinda love them all!

Big hugs to those who want one xxx

Hello ,just popped on for a little while ,whilst the bread cools down.
It was DS's 18th this week.
I got him a long coat, embroidered a T shirt with a slogan and some socks with his favourite character. That lot came to exactly £5.50  then in his card I put a £100 cheque. OH sorted out all the forms for him to get his provisional licence and bought him some Cds to study for the driving theory test and the money to pay for it. He'll teach him to drive in our car when he has done the theory. Anyway I think he had a lovely day. Funny to think he is officially an adult.
Its been too wet to do much in the garden but i got all the potatoes dug up and bagged at last.
Today I found DD a nice little lock up make-up case to put away for christmas.
Off to get the lunch sorted ,
    Bye for now
    Culpepper.
