    Taplady - glad it worked!!!

    Congratulations Ancasta!!!

    DH called me to tell me Pride & Prejudice is on Sky, he's working tonight and I was planning an early night but I do love anything remotely Jane Austen related...decisions, decisions.:confused:

    Have a lovely evening all.

    frugalfairy - :T :T Yes, polar fleece would be fab!! Didn't make it to that shop today but going back into that town next week. Have you tried "tied" fleece blankets? That's something I rather fancy trying too :laugh: Oh so many ideas/projects ... so little time! ;)

    Zed42 - Brilliant!!! :T :T :T Now *that* sort of saying I know I will remember :T Thank you so much :D:D:D

    GR - :T Pleased all is going as it ought to do ((hugs))

    anacasta - woohooo!!!! Congrats Mrs Paul!!! :T :T :T :j

    kyle - (((hugs))) simply *because*!!

    elona ... :j :j Happy 21st Ms Elona Jnr :T :T :T

    Confession: *Look away those who have a false impression of me!!* :o
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Had a bit of a relapse on the sm*king front :o Had my confessional with the Nurse today - gosh, I felt soooo ashamed of my weak willedness :(:(:( Yesterday ended up being a particularly stressful day and as I'd discovered a packet of cancer sticks when I was cleaning, well, they just *called* to me, wretched things were like a dripping tap (!) "smoke me; smoke me; smoke me!!!!!" Sorry SOMO1 - you are doing sooooooo well and by comparison I'm a weak willed all mouth and no trousers Billy Dripping!
    The Nurse was very generous and called it a mere "blip" (Blip!?? It was awful!!!!!) So, now I have patches AND an inhaler thingy wotsit and am 24hrs behind schedule *wibble*.
    Did some retail therapy ... all sales stuff ( :j ) and treated myself to a book to refocus myself. Gosh this is just sooooooooo hard!! Thanks for the mantra, Squeaky, but even my tongue in cheek version of it let me down when Nic began whispering/calling/SCREAMING/demanding/taunting from the cupboard. :o:o
    There! I've cast the monkey; been honest and upfront; admitted my sins and now ... well it's onwards and upwards once again! I'll shut up now. For all those who have been so supportive ... my apologies. I'm not worthy - but will continue to endeavour!!
    Hi, this is the Daily Thread for Friday October 20th 2006. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
    When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints.
    Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
    No one up yet or is it me who is stupid enough to be up this early on a saturday.. Im busy making rolls and stuff as we going up to glasgow today to visit my dad.. got a busy few days ahead of us and hope oh please please please that we get at least one day of it not raining, always rains when i go back home to glasgow.
    bought the oh a sat nav for christmas but he is having a practice run to glasgow as its the first time we have gone up from aylesbury as normally we travel up the A1 from peterborough so the sat nave is either going to help or be chucked out the window half way up the M6 lol..
    have a nice week everyone who is on half term and have a nice week those who arnt
    see you laters
    Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
    Still loved, still missed and very dear
    Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away.And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.
    Morning all :hello:
    Jockett - I hope that you have a great trip to Glasgow and I'll keep my fingers crossed about the weather.
    I am only up this early as I have to go to w@*& this weekend. I work alternate weekends so its not too bad :D
    The WM is on its second load, the first is drying in the spare room ( hopefully - as no heating allowed until at least Nov 1st) :D
    Was planning an OS tea using up the fridge stuff tonight, but OH has suggested the he treat me to a meal out ........ would be unkind to say no :D
    Well :grouphug: to all
    I hope that you all have a super day and get lots done it thats your plan or not much if thats your fancy :D:D:D
    Queenie - would be fine to plant your garlic bulbs now....... A few weeks ago I picked up a 'small' banana plant from the Eden Project and I am amazed at how much it has grown in just a few short weeks - maybe able to supply my own banana's in a year or two :)
    Have fun and tell someone you know that you love them today :)
    :wave:
    x
    p.s. just seen that its Joannasmums birthday today so :bdaycake:
