Happy Birthday Pen Pen, and to anyone I may have missed over the last few days

Congratulations to Michelle and Mr Michelle and hello to Baby Michelle!

Another busy day at work (with homemade soup for lunch) and then it's off to Bedford at the weekend to my uncle and aunt.

My cousin (their DD) lives in Oz,but it making the most of her maternity leave and she and her little baby are over the in UK, so baby can be admired by all! So i'm heading up there (with BF in tow), and my mum, dad and sister are all going to be there as well, so it's a real family reunion. Don't get to see them very often, so am looking forward to it.

*hugs*to those who aren't feeling too good, and have a lovely OS Friday.

edited-blimey dad has just rang and apparently my other cousin, her husband and their two kids have just arrived from Canada, and they'll be there tomorrow as well!

Oooh forgot to say I decided to take up embroidery yesterday afternoon so popped to local craft place and picked up material and thread last night. Had a go and it was very relaxing. Any one know of any good sites for getting threads, material etc?

    So here we go:

Belated Congratulations Michelle & Family - funny I walked past the maternity wards at Rotherham GH on Wednesday when I went to meet OH's mum from work and I thought about you - how strange!!!

:bdaycake: Belated Happy Birthday :bdaycake: to everyone who's special day i have missed!

:grouphug: to all those who have been in need lately

And now back to the present!!!

:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Pen Pen :bdaycake: - sad to hear about your chuck though :(

No excuse for not posting on here for ages! :o I have just been so so busy with work and uni that I don't seem to have time for anything!! Meadowhall has started its "open til 10pm on Weekdays" until December 29th so I'm not getting in from work until about 11 some nights  Hard work when I have a 9am start at uni the next day  Plus I have really suffered with my periods since I came off the injection, and the flat has got itself into a right mess - and i honestly don't know how because OH and I have hardly been here lately!!!

So this morning I just downright refused to get out of bed for uni!!! I went back to sleep and woke up about half an hour ago, and today I plan to do a bit of cooking, catch up on my washing and ironing, catch up on some uni work and do a bit of research for my dissertation! But I'm not going to beat myself up if I don't get any of it done as I need to just chill out today!!

Weekend plans: I am working all day tomorrow (until 7pm) but have Sunday off so not sure what I'm going to do!! Mu mum is visiting her mother, my dad is in Morocco on holiday, and OHs parents are away so I don't have to feel guilty about spending my day off at home rather than visiting!

So the only thing I now have to worry about is that Sheffield Wednesday have sacked their manager, and fans are organising a protest for tomorrow - due to start just as I drive past Hillsborough on my way to work  Oh, and that we have a police car and a radio journalist crew parked outside our flat as the SW Captain lives in our complex

Oh well, at least it's radio and not TV so it doesn't matter that I look like c**p when I nip downstairs to collect the post :rotfl:

Roz, you definately shouldn't beat yourself up, you sound v.v.v busy and deserve a lie in!

A bit like you I'm working long hours at the moment and it's always hard to OS during busy periods, but this board keeps me motivated :D

    Afternoon all,

This is a quick one because Fridays are my worst day in work ever.

((HUGS)) to all that need them!

Got good news that a really good mate is in town this weekend, unfortunately the bad news is we're skint :( so we can't go out for a few drinks with him.

Snowy Owl Seagrass is lovely but I know a few friends who have it and their cats think it's so similar to their scratching posts they can't tell them apart. If you've got cats (and I think I remember you have) you may want to get a small mat first and see if the little darlings decide they love shredding it.

    Edit:
    OH AND:
    ...........*****HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEN PEN*****...........
