    Good Afternoon all

Many Happy Returns Pen-Pen, hope you enjoy the rest of your birthday.

Woke up to horrible weather yet and had a riding lesson in drizzzley rain. Still enjoyed it though and do not ache as much as last week. Treated myself to a riding hat so will make sure that keep this hobby up.

Since then weather has turned warm and sunny. Hamburger and chips cooking for OH & DS as DS has Halloween Disco tonight, I will have a chip butty and DD wants toast so nice easy tea tonight. Think will start back on healthy eating after the half term.

Will allow myself a little lie in tomorrow about 7.30 any longer and I feel groggy the rest of the day.

Ageandjo I too have a Henry and my Dyson all floors is in the garage - I hated it - it weighed a ton. The Henry is much better.

Well off now think after dinner might treat myself to a nice bath. Should be doing some work filing (takes a least 2 hours) but think will put that off till tomorrow.

    Hi one and all!
    Happy birthday Pen Pen!!
At work today but will be tackling the weekly shop tonight. That includes buying all the bits for my HM mincemeat which I shall make on one of my days off during half term next week.
We haven't planned too much for this weekend. We were going to hire a rug doctor but as OH pointed out it's the first time we can let Twitten the cat out and she may head for the hills if we have that machine roaring. Shame!!:D Obviously that's blown all my OS plans clean out of the water!! Have promised myself that I shall deep clean the bathroom but first I shall have to tear myself away from the knitting....it's already taking on the outward signs of an addiction. I was up very late last night "just finishing my row":rotfl: :rotfl:
Am planning to try out the Beef in red wine recipe in the SC for Sunday and then at some point we shall head out to Compton to see the Watts gallery and memorial chapel [an OS freebie!!] and if the weather permits hopefully out somewhere to collect chesnuts. I rather fancy trying my recipe out for chesnut soup this year!
Have a fabby weekend. Don't do yourself a mischief with too much flyladying. Remember only 15 mins burst and then a big bun. Now that's an order:D

My name is jellycat after the brand of soft toys. I collect teddybears (although they are far too expensive these days, now I would never spend £200 on a bear) and one of my favourite everyday makes is jellycat, sort of squashy bears just like me!

Hi, Jellycat! I'd like a cat, but I'm allergic, so I have a purple Jellycat as a pin cushion!

    Evening everyone :hello:

    Happy birthday Pen Pen!

    Congratulations to the CharMichelles!

Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! It's half term and boy am I glad that it is! This week has been the week from hell. We had HMI in school and it didn't go too swimmingly......... I had one really poor observation and one alot better. I haven't had any support as a new teacher and that was noted too by the inspectors.

The school now has 3 teachers (out of 10) off with stress, and others on the verge of going to see the doctor. It has been suggested that I go too, but to be honest I just want to complete my NQT year and then get the hell out of there. Because I haven't had support for 2.5 terms, they may well extend my year by one term so that would take me up until Easter........

DH is still in Spain, but comes back tomorrow when we're going up to Manchester (Altrincham, actually) to see one of my friends. Can't wait as I haven't seen her since July :j :j

I'm making spag bol for supper tonight and freezing all the left over portions. Mmmmm, yummy. :p Then I'm going to try to get to bed early! Half a term of mega early starts hasn't done much for my sanity  .

Sorry this is more of a whinge than an OS post. I promise to be more positive next week. :D

    Oh Aril

That's me - "just let me get to the end of this bit." And before you know it I've got 1/2 the jumper done and the house is in darkness and all my wine is gone.:rotfl:

I have a large cat shaped jellycat, he's lovely. I used to travel abroad all the time for work, and I'd often take him with me. It was always funny at the airport security, me with just 1 bag containing laptop, change of undies and top, toothbrush, deoderant, showergel and cat.

OMG!!!! My colleague has finally had her baby (induced at 42 weeks) weighing 10lbs 4oz
LOL That's how much my 42 weeker weighed too. Congratulations to her!

Hospital visit went okay. Have to go back in a fortnight. Fingers and toes all crossed. DS got to hear the heartbeat and said it sounded like thunder! Managed to pick up some bargains to put away for Christmas, thanks to The Works. Got exhausted and couldn't face the trail to get DS's new pants so having to make another trip tomorrow. Had gnocchi in a slap dash attempt at a red wine sauce after DH said he was getting fed up of cheese sauce. :o (Not many things I can eat at the moment.) Was okay, but will have to read up on how to do it properly! :D

Floors still not swept and wardrobe still unassembled but DH got lots of other stuff done while I was out so we're going to put our feet up and watch some DVDs. The rest can wait.

Have a good weekend everyone.
