Congratulaions Michelle and DH, hope all is going well for you
Well, on my to do list .. was lots ... not sure I achieved much of it, but what I did achieve I was pleased with, iyswim.
Managed to process all my receipts, transfers will have to wait until tonight.
Managed to read the moneytips e:mail and opened an ISA and a savings a/c, 'phoned up my current savings a/c people, and chatted about their interest rates .. so going to be a "savings tart" for an ickle bit.
I stupidly thought that you could only have "x" amount in an ISA and that amount stayed the same each yr, didn't realise you could actually add that amount each year .. d'oh, d'oh, d'oh.
Also 'phoned Tesco's as last mth they made a delivery and I refused a whole load of substitutions, which having checked my credit card, they've not knocked off my bill. Did debate whether I could be bothered, but I'm glad I did. It's not on is it. They should be refunding that, plus my delivery charge (however, that took a bit of persuasion on my part, not very good at this complaining lark am I!! Ah well, £5.99 is £5.99).

CONGRATULATIONS MICHELLE AND FAMILY!!!!!
Been out all day today and the pc is playing up lately - it hasn't let me post for the last few days, and so far I've made 4 attempts to PM catznine to suggest she could PM Toothsmith, a nice dentist who sometimes posts on the Health Moneysaving Board. to ask what he thinks of the idea of having her amalgam fillings replaced!
Chipps - nice to see you back "home"!
Churchmouse - don't know if you'll see this, but hope the trip to Devon goes okay.
It's my birthday tomorrow and i've told DH and DS that I don't want them to buy me anything, I just want them to sort out the dining room so that the pc can finally go into the workstation we bought several months ago which currently has loads of "stuff" piled in front of it, so that we can have the dining table back! DD! will be at Uni all day but DD2 is going to come over with DGS who's now 9 weeks old, I can't believe how fast the time's gone since he was born!
Sorry got to go and make a corned beef hash, (((((((hugs)))) to everyone who needs one!
best wishes

Congratulations Michelle - hope all went well!
We're back from the Dinosaurs - and I'm so proud of myself. Managed to do the whole day (including train fares and car park) for £17 for the 3 of us!! DD1 and DS were great about avoiding the gift shop and a good time was had by all! My Mum had DD2 and we are still knee deep in wee! She went to nursery for 4 hours this morning and today came home with 3 wet pairs of knickers. Still - only day 2 - things can only get better!!:rotfl:
The WM is on overdrive and to cap it all DH is STILL at work (where he's been since 7am) and likely to remain there until 8 tonight. I hear the dulcet tones of a glass of wine calling my name! Any who wish to join me will be very welcome! Is it too early for chocolate?????0
