Got excited just then Pen, when i saw you had posted again!!!!
Had a lovely relaxing day today. Went xmas shopping this morning, was able to get around town quickly and easily as it was just me, and have managed to do more than half of what i need to do, and i know most of what else i want to get!!!! A few people im not sure about, but i have plenty of time, so not worried yet. I hate xmas shopping in December, so like to get it all done and dusted ASAP. Not going to have OS xmas cards this year, the school have gotton each class to make an xmas card with contributions from every child, so ive ordered a pack from both DS and DDs classes (£5 for 10:eek: ) but should be a lovely keepsake for everyone.
Apart from that, ive done nothing!!!! Its been lovely, and i even found a HM spag bol in the freezer, so dont even have to cook tonight!!!
Well, better put the pasta on (i can manage that amount of work!!!), hope everyone has a lovely evening,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Aftnoon all!
Sorry I went awol again, last minute trip to london meant no internet and now im shattered! Got back late last night and fell asleep to a movie. Today has been manic too as i posted about 20 items on freecycle and have been moving them to the door ready, labelling, generally sorting and dejunking. I m currently very sweaty and waiting for a couple more people to arrive to collect their goodies. I logged on here and was happy to see that there is some excitement for Michelle - im presuming she has gone into labour and reported before she left last night?
We also went out today to take another billion boxes to the tip for recycling, and dropped a load of old sheets and towels off at the PDSA. I then treated boyf to a late birthday present which we intended to do days ago, buy him a home brewing kit for him to make some 'real ale'. He was very excited, but is currently lying on the sofa whingeing that something or other hurts??!! im just ignoring it as im too busy and he knows where the painkillers are!
Trip to tesco on the cards this evening, we run out of a few things and i want to find some reduced fruit as I have two empty kilner jars and a breadmaker saying 'please make jam'. Im particularly partial to a bit of raspberry and apple so fingers crossed i might get a bargain. Mr Tesco also just sent me some of those £2 off £20 spend type vouchers too so that will be handy.
I also need to clear out the fishtank today because I bought some of that bogwood stuff, soaked it for days, put it in the tank, and it has seeped in the water so it looks almost as if Mr fishy is swimming through lager! Other half also wants to start the homebrew this evening so it looks like a busy one.
Anyway - I must dash - I know I have some other task to do this evening but cant remember what it was so ill have to circle the house looking for whatever it was and do it!

Edited to say CONGRATULATIONS MICHELLE!!! and welcome to the world, baby!!
So, until that happened, I just wanted to say that I've just made the most FABULOUS h/m pizza. :T
The boys, being unadventurous, had boring old Pepperoni.
I, being the adventurous gourmand that I am, ventured out into a spicy prawn, spinach and mushroom pizza ... and it was flipping GORGEOUS!!
Easy done, too - I just sliced a couple of button mushrooms and put them on top of the tomato sauce, then tore up some fresh spinach which went on next, then rolled some frozen prawns (got half a bag left over from when we did a curry) in cajun spices, which got sprinkled over the top. Add a bit of mozzarella here and there (not too much, it gets quite juicy enough as it is!) and a bit of grated cheddar (about a dessertspoonful). Bung it in the oven and prepare to enjoy much deliciousness!
Oh, that one's definitely a "do again".:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:Weight loss since 2 March 10 : 13lbs0 -
:j :j :j Thanks Penny, welcome to the new little OS chap:D :T
