Looks like they've sent you one fifth of the cashback amount, and not one quarter, Waterstar.
This is what they'd do with a 18 or 24 month contract, paying out on month 6,9,12,15 and 18.
Worth double checking with them that they have you down as a 12-month contract customer, not 18 or 24 months.
I have just received payment 5 of 5 from a 24 month contract started August 2010, all cashback received as promised. Everything sent by post using recorded delivery. No problems.0 -
Ok got my first cheque on day 20 of the 28 timetable, although not banked/cleared yet.
HOWEVER, it is the wrong amount!! I have a 12 month contract, £30 per month, with 9 months cashback (the Sept/Oct 2011 Galaxy Ace/Talkmobile Deal).
per the terms/timetable published at the time cashback payable in four amounts, months 6/8/10/12.
So cashback in total should be £270, equal to £67.5 on each claim/payment.
Cheque sent is for £54.00.
Anyone else had similar problem?
same deal as I got. my cheque came through at the £67.50:)0 -
2 claims in for March, put them in a week apart as 1 claim is the newish rules and with a ported number.
1st claim accepted OK, but funnily enough expecting an issue with 2nd claim - all done as per T&C's and acknowledgement for porting updated.
They didn't disappoint and an issue as expected and clam declined. Can't post the issue on an open forum, but once pointing out their error, it was quickly sorted and cheque manually raised and now banked.
Next claim should be fun though!!!

Hi, Just looking for a bit of advice really. I've just taken out a contract with mobiles.co.uk for HTC One S. I had a proper look at how to claim the cashback and I got it all straight in my head. I then received an email from them entitled 'IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Your Cheque Back Offer' which explained to me how to claim. However, it said I had to send the claim forms to a different address than their website says, and also it told me to send them back one month earlier than it had said on their website. After a little bit of searching I discovered this was in-fact the cashback terms of their sister site e2save!
My questions therefore are, in your opinions:
1. Which one should I follow?
2. Should I do the claims through the link where you can upload them on their website or should they be sent in physical form?
Thank you for all your help in advance. Much appreciated.0 -
I already repeat the same advice (and have been for years) so I won't answer you twice!0

By the sounds of it they sent you the e2save terms rather than mobiles.co.uk. I would say it its mobiles.co.uk ones if purchased through them - but for peace of mind ....
If you are not in a rush (ready to make a claim), fire off any email to the customer services via the web site asking them to confirm the cashback months they need the bills for. Usually get a reply within 5 days.
If you are ready to make a claim right now, phone them (try to avoid using 08 number if you can).
Sending bills through their web site is cheaper option than sending recorded post and it works as long as you claim early in the 60 day period.0 -
I have been using the email system for a year and always worked.
Make sure you get the emial back from them to say "E-mail is received" this happens within a day or two (working days). If not send again.
This have happen to me once where I did not get any email back, after a day later I resend and response received within a few minutes.
Also check your mobiles.co.uk account using order ID and email to make sure correct invoice is sent and you can also check to see if payment is sent.
I have many accounts from mobiles.co.uk and e2save and always follow the account information.0 -
Just received the first cheque for my current cashback contract, 20 days after receiving my "successfully processed" email.
Assuming the cheque doesn't bounce, I can't find fault with the process so far.
Another 4 claims to go....0 -
27 days here for two claims. Just 1 day short of 28 days deadline.0

Make sue to send the correct bill and as soon as you can.
