My brain can't cope with all this talk about yellow and white stickers - I understand that yellow stickers are for special offers but it there seems to be no consistency in what colour works and what doesn't. I've been very lucky to get a psp and an X box - but I only got those due to the advice on here about the wrong gotw. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't really understand it - but then tesco staff don't understand it either !ELITE 5:2

So how should it be done when looking for these great finds, do you always go to your local Mr T or do you regularly travel around0

hi,
whats all this talk of "no posters in site" and "no posters up"?
is the R&R not a Tecso policy full stop? does the store in question have to have the R&R posters up to qualify?
is it only really possible to get the best deals in self scan stores?
i have never used a self scan thingy, can you use one in the store even if you dont end up buying anything?
thank you, have a nice day0 -

Bigger stores tend to be better for high value electrical stuff simply because there is more range and potential for Mr T to miss an SEL/sticker. Extras are the best in my experience, particularly at weekends when they have all the part-time staff on.0 -

Just thought I'd mention it:)
Nope the promotion has been pulled due to all the misprices that have happened - no new promotion is going out tomorrow at all.0 -

'Posters' in this context refers to the console offer posters. The policy is applicable at all stores until they decide to pull it (which may be on the horizon as we speak judging by the popularity of this forum).
Self scanning is really not a great deal better than going to a proper checkout for checking prices; you still have a self-scan monkey hanging around waiting to tell you what you're doing wrong.
The best option is to find a scanning point on the wall and check prices there.0 -
Posters which detail the offer, which you need not to kick in at the till, in order to claim r&r.
Not the posters which declare r&r policy.0 -
Hi,
From what I'm reading you need the poster to be able to start this process - NO poster NO chance for a console!
Without this there is no 'offer' or 'discounted item' to misprice.0 -

Hi guys and gals can someone explain to me what i need to look out for with regards to the Xbox/PSP's etc.
I used to always check out the Tesco's mis-price thread about a year ago but my local store which had scanners that worked to check were always on the ball so i rarely got any r+r's.So because of this i stopped checking in with this thread:(
Shame as if i'd known about the Xbox 360's i would have gone around all the stores in the area as i need one for a birthday present and of course a PSP would be nice;)
So what do i need to look out for. What is wrong about the posters etc that i'd get something for free?;)
ThanksDarren0
