The other week I bought a nintendo ds lite and the GOTW and guess what, i was OVERCHARGED! I emailed tescos complaining about this and they said we are sorry you were overcharged for your GAME go to the shop where you got it and they will give you a refund and let you keep the item. How can I get the console too? It was a package was it not? Does anyone have any tips on what to say + I will thank you if you help me. :-)

    HI DAZZIEDOO

All tesco should do the full r&r, they try and fob you off but once mention refund and retain they soon give you full refund

where is your local store? just curious as i saw your avitar and i come from felixstowe
I generally use the store at Copdock and this is where they just refund the difference in amount paid, they rarely check the shelf, just take the customers word for it. I am going there tomorrow and will look closely for the sign and will refere to it next time I am over charged. Thanks for all replies, I will act the dumb blonde next time !!!

I tried to post this last night - but for some reason it kept crashing - so here goes again...
Noticed that my local Mr T has Christmas cds - usual selection which comes out every year.
    Buy one = £4.97
    Buy two = £8.00
Looks VERY similar to the offer they had on the Christmas annuals - so wonder if the discount WON'T come off ?
Obviously no good scanning - even if my store had a working scanner

But if anyone is in the Christmas mood, it MAY be worth a try.

Just to show that SOME Tescos cs know how to do their job, saw someone today getting a whole trolley full of books and a game refunded (beautiful baby by the way if this was you ). As soon as cs had finished she had 2 members of staff over and gave them a list of the books and the games - by the time I got there the staff were scanning everything in sight !
Pain is they never actually put a price out - just took all the wrong prices/sels off, so 90% of all their cds/dvds/games etc has no price on show at all !

Surprised about Park Rangers post re TS - I thought that stores HAD to refund the difference if they overcharged - am I reading you right that they don't, that they can charge you whatever they like - legally - despite what the ticket/sel/advert/pos says ?
So therefore ALL stores who refund the difference are being 'generous'

    Had a good day today

Visited 7 stores and was unsuccessful at only 2...although they proved the most fruitful.

From the other 5 stores I managed 9 boxes of Becks Vier (12s), and 36x4 500ml tinnies of Fosters......all CS were wonderful.....one tried to just "give me the difference" whilst the others gave me a full refund without me even asking.

For those wondering about quantity....they came like this

    3 Becks(3x£7.99)
    3 Becks(3x£7.99)
    3 Becks and 12x4 Fosters(3x£7.99 and £37.80)
    12x4 Fosters (£37.80)
    12x4 Fosters (£37.80)

The icing on today's cake was the fact that the 2 stores that "got everything correct, each gave me refund of £200+ in exchange for a previously RandRed PSP and game.....................I just told them both that my son preferred his XBox.

Took them back under the 28 day rule,(although they didnt know they were previously RandR'ed.....havent got that brave yet)

Thats a cool £600ish.........Time to hibernate for a while

I will go back through the misprice thread and thank the original OP's for the beer.................cheers:beer:
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
