Yes, just been to New Oscott (Sutton/Birmingham) and it has a yellow SEL at 199.XX reduced from 219.XX expired 10/10 however on the self scanner it scans at 179.XX!

How would you descibe somebody who has twice failed to remove an out of date SEL and twice paid out a full R&R to the same customer ?
And hopefully a third time tonight ;-)

Ok the member of staff didnt complete the task that perhaps they should have done or communicate it to where it needed to be....how does that give you the right to insult every member of staff that works for the company.

Perhaps Tesco only employ very clever staff and they all deliberately leave out of date SEL's up because they make more money overcharging customers (who they have mislead with their incorrect SEL's) than paying out the odd R&R......Just a thought.

What is even more infuriating is that you can only make your comments anonymously on an internet forum.....i've got a months wages that you wouldnt walk into a Tesco staff restaurant thats full of staff and repeat your comments in person.

And what would they do ? apart from politely asking me to leave because they disagree with my opinion. Cover me in SEL labels (out of date) ?

I think you need to calm down and take the comment in the manner it was meant (in jest). Perhaps you should channel your outrage/over reaction into getting your pricing sorted out. It is hardly rocket science ! Unless Tesco's policy is not to sort it out because they make more money Net by illegally over charging customers ? ! ?

Why do a significant number of people on this thread keep throwing the 'Troll' word around everytime somebody writes something they disagree with ?

When people have a different view or opinion than me, I don't consider or accuse them of being a Troll ! I suggest people focus their energies on having a full and frank discussion.

I didnt once insinuate or call you a troll, i simply stated that your opinion was and is insulting the the quarter of a million staff that tesco currently employs in this country.

Generally when stating something in jest a smilie (:D) is used so as to prevent misinterpretation. Obviously you are unaware of this fact as two regular posters to this thread both interpreted your comments as derogartory. Congratulations on your R&R, i do hope you get many hours of pleasure out of it.

Regards free speech, i said that i felt that you overstepped the mark, not that you couldnt post your comments, no contradiction there.

Before you comment on how tesco make more profit from overcharges, please understand how the system works.....read the threads, the reasons that it is not straightforwards are in there.

I never actually scanned it as i assumed (from reading earlier posts) that one SEL expired a couple of days ago, and i viewed the website i linked to yesterday and it was £219.97 or something then, today its back to £179.97, perhaps the new promotion is starting today but tills havent been updated. Who Knows, I certainly dont for sure, until one of you guys or gals buy it and let us all know which it is for sure

I come on this thread to get some light relief & humour and to find out how others are doing with R & R's - not to read an ongoing saga between 2 people - it as they say "does my head in" there is enough stress in life as it is , Please let's keep this thread nice.

Had a nightmare of a day........

Got to cs desk with 2 r&r's & was clocked as I had had a refund on a games console a few weeks ago. They all started whispering & made me feel really un-comfortable. Must admit I thought 1 item would be a refund but not the other, I bought that because I wanted it for an xmas pressy.

I think I should steer clear of that store for a bit. Loads of chances of r&r today there, they are not really on the ball.

POJ, IMO, You should'nt feel uncomfortable at all, Tesco's are fair game. Just look at it as a kind of sport:D
