I have been in for R&R the last two nights, and have been served at CS by different people i was planning on going back this evening and attempting to hunt down some beer - i just wondered do people think im pushing my luck and also would tesco have any grounds to ban me from the store?

Pay cash, don't use your clubcard, give a false name and address if asked i.e. no way of tracing you / establishing a pattern.

    Didn't get asked today.

Just been into my local superstore. They have one of those small yellow shelf stickers for an Acer laptop showing a £50 off reduction to £349.99 from £399.99 - this has an expiry date on for the 10th October. Although there are no Laptops out (for security) could I ask for one and claim a R&R? Has anyone had a definitive answer to the expiry date issue ie. wether it counts under R&R or not (have looked at a few of the threads on here for an answer).

    Thanks :j

where do Tesco get their staff, Dumbf@ckistan ?
If this is the attitude that you approach the customer service desks with I sincerely hope that you get precisely what you deserve.

I completely believe in free speech and will more often than not say exactly what i feel but you pal completely overstep the mark.

Ok the member of staff didnt complete the task that perhaps they should have done or communicate it to where it needed to be....how does that give you the right to insult every member of staff that works for the company.

What is even more infuriating is that you can only make your comments anonymously on an internet forum.....i've got a months wages that you wouldnt walk into a Tesco staff restaurant thats full of staff and repeat your comments in person.

If an sel shows a price then that price should be reflective of the charge made at the point of purchase, if it is not then it is illegal and an overcharge regardless of any dates that may be on the label or pos.

No arguments, no wriggling, simply fact.

  • I think you meant 'educated' ! ? !

You've got to be joking. Have you read McDonag's posts? "Edjicated" is as far as I can go.

Dont feed the Troll, besides he/she must be full up with all those burgers.
  • Gotta laugh at the CS women moaning at each other when getting my small scale R&Rs today:

"Why didn't you tell me you going... you could have checked my ones on way..."

"Lots of overcharges today... whats up????"

".... lazy staff... we can't keep giving out free stuff all day!"

"The word came in this morning. No one is working. CDs should have been done. Why are they still over marked? We know about these"

That last one makes me question whether Tesco has a daily R&R report to stores to change prices???

I also think i saw another MSE next to me getting the Pretenders GT Hits CD :D
They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!

I wanted to buy Fifa 2007 for PS2, so I strolled along, picked it up, and paid.
Hang on I thought, the price is different to SEL. I thought I was onto a right result.
I had been charged £29.83, I checked the SEL and it was £29.97.... I had been undercharged !!!
    What a shambles......
