From the moment you buy that noddy annual/DVD/Xbox etc. its yours, if you then decide to sell it thats up to you! Just because you have been refunded on the item doesnt mean anything changes, its not on loan or anything!

Sorry I just dont agree with trying to take it back to tescos after they have r&r'd it.

Ok sorry I misunderstood your post, I have only ever returned one item after an R&R and that wasnt for cash it was exchanging a PS2 for a Nintendo DS

Most of the time the CS people mark your reciept as R&Rd so how can people then take them back for a refund?

For the record I don't want this thread closed and I don't work for Tesco's or have any direct shares in Tesco's (I don't know what my pension fund invests in).

I believe the activities of individuals that set out to exploit Tesco's R&R policy, that is there to compensate customers for Tesco's genuine mistakes are at best morally dubious.

A discussion thread on this topic should allow people who object to the R&R exploitation that leads to prices being put up for ordinary customers or investors loosing out to express their view.

How can you have a discussion without the range of alternative views being expressed ?

They dont always mark your receipt believe me!!!!!!!!!!

ive been to tescos 6 times this week, and 2 of those visits were in different parts of the country when i was supposed to be doing something different i think i'm becoming slightly obsessed! :eek: want to go again tomorrow but am going to force myself not to lol

My heart skipped a beat today on this one

Took the DVD case to the scanner at the other end of the store, it's a bit of a trek so all the way I was saying the price to myself so I wouldn't forget.
£797.97,£797.97,£797.97,£797.97
I scanned it in & up came £697.97. Oh my god I thought a free LCD TV, but within half a second I realised it was an undercharge not an overcharge & I came back down to earth. It's just a matter of time tho.
Got a few other things worth £140 while I was there & will pop back tomorrow for my refunds.
