  • Dropped in to my local store on the way home from work...

They had the DS poster up!

    It was so tempting :o

But I did the right thing

Is your halo shining ( mean this in a nice way :) )

What was the reaction of the person when you told them? Why have the stores still got the poster still up surely the managers speak to other store managers & the word must be getting around. I've only seen 1 store with the poster up lately.

You did tell them didn't you? Or had you had a hard day?

    I know what you mean!

I have literally been losing sleep over my R&Ring activities!

I work nights and have been spending the daytime when I should be asleep trawling round all the Tescos in the area (and some out of the area too)

Tiring work but it pays off, I now have one of each console/handheld plenty of games and a freezer full of prime beef!

I never thought I could tire of roast beef....

  • Yeah I told them. Tried with a GA, it was still there when I finished shopping so found a manager.

I really was tempted. Do I feel better having fixed it rather than having a nice new DS to play with?

I suppose...I have one anyway. If I didnt already own one, I think I probably would have done it ;)
Who or what was I before you came in to my life
    I am not sure

I know this is off topic but we should start an online gaming sesion with all our 360s and DS's!

For the record I don't want this thread closed and I don't work for Tesco's or have any direct shares in Tesco's (I don't know what my pension fund invests in).

I believe the activities of individuals that set out to exploit Tesco's R&R policy, that is there to compensate customers for Tesco's genuine mistakes are at best morally dubious.

A discussion thread on this topic should allow people who object to the R&R exploitation that leads to prices being put up for ordinary customers or investors loosing out to express their view.

How can you have a discussion without the range of alternative views being expressed ?

I think you are wrong there....the thread is a Tesco mis-price discussion thread......Its to discuss misprices and all the consequences of R&R.....not whether its legally or morally correct.....or thats the way I believe what the mods indicated in our last "telling off"

Athough you may be correct in assuming that I act morally dubious.....but far from criminal.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
