the problem posts have been removed, which is why you can't see them now.puddings wrote:Instead of just deleting what you consider to be offending posts, I'd be grateful if you would show us examples please, then we will know exactly the kind of thing that you don't like.
these threads tend to end up with people arguing and sniping at each other, which is the reason why the last thread was closed by the Forum Team, and some of the previous 10 threads had to be either closed or commented on by the FT or BGs to stop the arguing as the threads got out of hand and wildly off topic as well. As long as the posts are kept just to the discussion of the policy and don't go into the area of accusations, arguing with each other about the rights and wrongs or posting nasty, rude or inflammatory comments about other members, then the thread remains on topic and posts will not be removed.
If you have any questions about this or the way this thread is run please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com. Thanks0 -

Doh! Anyone want to give "my hero" a clue? :rotfl:
Edit - there can not be many places on mse where stopping someone being overcharged gets one labeled as selfish!Who or what was I before you came in to my life

Put it this way, earlier I got into a bit of problem and I shot off in a direction I shouldn't have. I should have dropped it but I did not. Before hitting "post" button a few times I thought to myself "is this going a bit far off topic and turning into something else" But I still hit send because that is where it started, with a tesco policy.
I think that running a rule of "If I have to ask myself if it is on topic or just argumentetive then it should not be posted" is a rule I will stick closer too in future.
sorry for risking another lockdown users and sorry to wasting more of the mods time.
Now lets get back to Mr T & Co.0 -

Do you think we are all stupid enough to have the same email addy here as the one that we used to send the scans of receipts etc to HO CS
And that's if Tesco could pay enough or get a court order to get them :think:0
