kiddyguy I got mine today in the midlands
Call me selfish if you want, but I'm aint saying where;) ;the RnRs are too easy to pick up there.0 -
I wonder when Tesco will put a stop to this. Maybe they'll put a limit of the amount of R&Rs you can make or put a clause in saying specifically looking for R&Rs not allowed?0

Plushchris wrote:One thing that is down to the store is the checkout staff not noticing/ignoring mispriced stickers on games/DVDs etc.
I went in to one store an bought (among other things) 4 DS games, every one of them had the wrong sticker on it, the guy on the checkout didnt notice the first one but I'm almost positive he noticed the others as I saw him do a double take at the sticker and the till display then he looked at me (I just pretended to be in a daydream and looked out of the window) HE DIDNT SAY A DICKIE BIRD TO ME!
So how do you explain that one?
Did he just not like the look of me?
Couldnt be bothered with the hassle?
Told to ignore any overcharges he sees?
Whatever the answer, its not good, I felt like complaining about him but would then have shot myself in the foot RE the R&R (and wouldnt wanna do that for £80 worth of games) :rotfl:
Actually, I'd say that the reason he noticed and never said anything is cos he is sick of working for a pittance in a really boring job and thought 'good luck to him with his r&r'0 -
kiddy_guy wrote:Read the post!!!!! I have done enough R&R ing to know peeps won't tell me where the R&R' are available from. What I want to know is, the posters who have had recent R&R's on these, when all of the Midlands stores have removed the offers entirely - no offer whatsoever - where did they get them from. i.e which are the unobservant stores - Coventry has 2 large Extras which are hit repeatedly by other MSE users. IF however Inverness is a slack store then surely we'd all want to know for referencing future offers.
Posting the slack stores on her would be a bad idea. Tesco people read this thread the store would no longer be slack.
Finding R+R's involves burning rubber and traveling to stores. I did about 60 miles last night and left with nothing, and I have had many good r+r's from 5 of the 6 stores I visited in the past. its all about luck and timeing especailly if your in an area where there are lots of r+rers.0 -

From what I can tell they are trying their best to stop it nowAll sorts of underhand tricks and intimidation tactics are kicking in.
I say that everyone spreads the word; get everyone checking their receipts and hitting Mr T where it really hurts! In the profits! :eek:0 -
I would say about half the time I read about a mis-price on here its too late to get in the local stores, what it DOES do however is give you an idea of what to look for when you go.
A lot of offers I hear about on here havent even been in the shops around here so I'm sure some must be regional (ie. the WKD offer, I never saw that on offer around here)Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

I think they would have difficulty in proving you were specifically looking for them0 -

Trying to ban customers for doing something which they advertised that you should do is going to be problematic to say the least! You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -

Unfortunately I think a lot of people are under the delusion that Mr T needs 'proof' in order to accuse, judge or punish people that step into 'Mr T's World' (Tesco). He doesn't. It's his turf, you play by his rules, and if you don't like them, go speak to his mates in whitehall ...0 -

Very true, wonder if they will rerun the advert soon, (as it's been such a success:D ) Maybe they will do a new version with her getting R&R on a X-box:rotfl:0
