I don't think it is right that people go to Tescos just to make money from their R&R.

I totally agree, it is a crime to miss the current petrol offer.

On a seperate note..

If they tailor your clubcard points/statement to what you have been purchasing, does that mean we can all look forward to some vouchers for games/consoles/DVDs/Rib roasts/Noddy books/CD players/pork chops/chickens/steaks etc?

go for it.(at worse you can return either later that day or the days after and get a full refund.Just make sure you don't open any of the products)
Also this is for everyone....
If you buy a game,CD or DVD(any format) make sure it has the plastic cover/ seal on when you buy it or make them write on your reciept that the game doesn't have it on when you are buying it (BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE SHOP) or you will have major problems when returning to the store for your refund.

Tesco Bridgend have covered the error on the poster up, I saw a Tesco lady walking out of there as I was walking into the aisle, I'll never know now if she was changing it as I got there, wish I went earlier!!!!

I have noticed a few people paying close attention to SELs etc and often wondered, even got a knowing nod and a wink from a guy filling his trolley with steak once (didnt see if it was a mis-price as he took the lot - about 8 trays!)


I must admit when I first read this thread (about 3 weeks ago) I was just out to get as much free stuff as possible, but now its like more of a game, it makes shopping more fun!

I hadnt sold a single thing I have R&Rd til yesterday, on thursday I was treated like a fool by the CS woman who refused to R&R my PSP, while in the store buying the PSP I noticed the Phillips CD players and said to myself "if they take the p*ss, so will I" I got a total blank from the CS woman so duely phoned HO and got it sorted by KK, the lady handed me back my £180 and I walked straight around the corner and picked up 2 of those stereos and was back at CS within 5 minutes (probably under 3)
The look on her face is something I will remember for a very long time when I think of R&Ring!
If she had done the right thing and honored the policy in the first place I wouldnt have got the stereos (as I already had one in the car from a previous store) but I just wanted to prove a point to her.

I'm not hard up by any means but when someone offered me £20 for the stereo I took it! And I dont see that I have done anything wrong in doing so, it was mine to sell!

Still have another one sitting in my spare room, will probably be an Xmas pressie.

pollock tesco... had GOTW: Just cause and godfather... no poster offerin £20 off... no deal wi PSP either... :-(

Stopped in to a Tesco's I dont't normally go to today on my way past, guess one of you guy's already been there, no offers, posters etc on consoles, just big empty spaces were posters took down, scanner which was by the games, had out of order poster on it. Big poster saying area under constant video surviellance. Two managers looking at area talking about security and what to do with the display as it looked a mess... I laughed all the way out the store:rotfl: Hope someones enjoying a console
