I wish Yorkshire was as good!
Being awash with tesco is far from good. They destroy communities and smallholders livelihoods.
They turn everything they come into contact with rotten.
The north west has so many tescos because it's one of the most deprived regions in the country. There is such abject poverty that supermarkets thrive..ॐ Signature Removed by Someones Mum. ॐ0 -
Thanks wlfc1 and Coupon-mad ...... i'll see how it goes tomorrow. I thought the same about the clear ticket thingy .... looks like they'd been there done that hahaha.
Another silly question for you .... do most peeps just go along to get some R&R's or do they pick up some 'genuine' shopping that is correctly priced to save drawing undue attention ? Guessing it looks a bit odd if you have £60 of stuff that's all overcharged0 -
There is an expired Yellow SEL that has been taken out of the plastic cover and is sitting on the top of one of those Phillips CD players, can this be considered as a POS ?(it has been there for days) what are the chances of getting an r&r ?0

Depends what im after
If I know it is an Xbox or just PS games, then it is reasonable to expect that It would not be suspicious to just buy these goods.
If I am looking to stock up my freezer with meat, then I add a couple of useful items like stuffing etc.0 -

but possibly a very rewarding one....Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

ok, heres what i dont get:o just because the product is priced higher than the SEL, how do you know its not going to scan at the lower price?
Asda for example have tons of stuff with prices on, but sell at a lower price.
is it the the good old self scan machines again?
surely people dont buy expensive food on the off chance of an R&R!!
help?
thank you.0 -

No. Its to do with the way pricing works on catch-weight (ie meat) product.
Rather than each pack getting the same price (like you would get with a can of beans), they are priced by weight.
So if the SEL says 8.00/kg and the pack says 9.00/kg, it is going to charge at the higher price.
Unlike with the beans, it is not possible to do a blanket price adjustment. Each pack needs to be individually corrected. This is why it goes wrong so often - its a pain to do and often gets missed.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
