  • A quick mention about the annuals offer. There have been so many combinations mentioned. Dr Who and Bratz as a combination trigger the discount.

I genuinely wanted these for Christmas presents so I was disappointed but at least I didn''t have to go down the refund route. Dr Who is so popular with school children I thought I should buy it early anyway, in case it is difficult to find nearer the time.
  • Thanks for your honesty, Constantine. :)

Christ, don't thank me for that! It was far from a difficult question! :o

I thanked you because I appreciated the straight answer, especially considering the conflicting information given out by CS on the issue. If posters on here are to be believed, Kevin Kelly/Joanne Leith today rejected two console refunds on the basis that the posters were out of date. Toady, however, had his refund verified by CS over the out of date poster for the Vodafone/Virgin offer.

  • Those of us living near Manchester are in a very privileged position of having a plethora of Tesco stores. To visit them all would be a full time job, :j

Very true but most of them are very hot on misprices and they can be tough to find them especially the high profile ones.
I just got back from hitting west Manchester, Stockport, Burnage, East Didsbury, Handforth, Baguley and Altricham and found a few posters but no gotw offers, no mispriced hifi's and the meat was quiet but I didnt check everything I couldnt be bothered.

So it looks like tesco have sorted out the messaging system to get the info to stores quickly and they listened this time. or the stores are now all reading this site I know stockport did.

I had one refunded today by KK which was an out of date poster.

what was it you got?....and what did you say to get the r+r?

    This is what I mean:
Tesco's HO don't seem to be playing ball this morning. They've point-blank refused a full r&r on a PSP+GOTW based on, they say, the fact that the offer has expired!! This from Joanne Leith of all people! GOTW Poster was there plain as day; the furthest they will go is R&R on game, but say that they will take the console back. I think I may have been 'flagged' guys, just like renegade.

    Any advice welcome. TIA ...

today i tried my first r+r. went to teco deysbrook barracks in liverpool. bought a nintendo ds + game of the week which was lego star wars 2. they had a poster up saying £10 off when you buy. discount did not come off went to c.s and they offered me the game for free, after about 15 mins of explanation. i was told to take it up with head office. a member of staff not c.s told me to speak to kevin kelly. so i phoned him when i got home he told me that it is an expired offer. and although the poster was still up in the store that the did not have to honer it. he offered me the £10 difference for the discount that didnt come off as a gesture of good will, in the form of a tesco voucher. he was adamant that i was not getting a full r+r for the purchase. oh yes forgot to mention the poster stated that the offer was for week commencing the 22/09/06. i even tried saying that the offer should still be on then as 22 + 7 days = 29. today being the 29/09/06. but no chance . gonna take it back to another store for a full refund..

I am in the same situation, i thought it was still a R&R even if the offer as out of date?????? There were lots of posts about phones with out of date offers on and getting R&RS for them.

can anyone help me out with my earliest post??

im just worried because i have a reciept which says -320quid but doesnt mention what for...although that can be proven by cameras can it not? I can argue...why else would they have given me 320quid!

other main thing is that my card WAS charged but i hadn't collected the item yet...the CS woman insisted that she recitified it before the point of sale...

any advice would be great ;)

Chances of a camera picking up the details of an individual sale are slim to non-existant.

What problem with your card? Required athorisation? C & P not working?
