I'm sure you are right ! A CS lady (very nice woman as it happens) told me yesteray that Tesco were investigating fraud on R&R's - mainly by their own staff. She was very cross about the suggestion. I'm in your neck of the woods too so its certainly happening in the south west.

Most of the time, people won't post details of the individual stores for the very reasons I've mentioned. Firstly, some stores do read this thread. If I post which one is my local, the store could well get the poster down before anyone makes it there. They could also possibly identify me. The other thing to consider is that if someone sees a poster up, as well as stock of the console and game, they are more likely to grab it for themselves than post about it on here. The only way you are going to get a console is to get out there and do the leg work yourself. Go to the stores near you. Plan a day trip out to the ones a little further afield. That way, you may be lucky enough (although with most Tesco stores, luck doesn't come into it, as the managers are inept ) to grab yourself a console.

I went to both the ones near me ones about 10 mins drive then went str8 to the other another ten mins but had not luck. I looked top to bottom and found nothing then, Just got chatting to some worker about the offer and acted like i was a right dumb @ss and pretended i didnt know anything. Just that i wanted both together and that the label said 82/09/2006 and i thought it was bundled together. In the end i go its seems much cheaper in game and got off from the store quietly. Had a few old grannies in the way who had wouldnt move. Kept thinking security would pull me back in lol.

You're in the Manchester area, right? 10 minutes drive is nothing. I consider stores local to me if I can reach them in an hour by car!
