Tesco misprice discussion area part 11

I have today bought a DS Lite with Brain Train which was still in the GOTW but it should have been Fifa 2007. Was told I could not have the R&R but they would give me the discount as I had the DS lite and not the DS. When I pointed out that the sign said a DS Console and the only one on display right next to the poster was the Lite and as such the whole thing was misleading the dept manager agreed with me but still refused the refund. They then went and got a DS to prove that they were different and when I asked why none were on display they stated that they had sold alot today and no-one had replaced them. Not sure where to go from here? Any advice appreciated. Julie

Just got back from my local store and there was nothing available. Someone had got to the Philips CD players before me and there were no consoles at all. I got my 6 year old daughter a coat and some other bits and pieces. As we got in the car she said "Daddy have we got to take these things back now?" :T :rotfl: :T

Made up for the fact I had not got anything.

Just got back.. NO GOTW posters anyway... NO yellow price labels anywhere either.. .godfather still in its normal spot.

Am I right to assume no ones changed it there yet and if I go back tomorrow morning all the posters should be there and the price will be still wrong?

Yeah but how does the price of consoles not add up. So if i go and buy a psp and game when it scan wont both products add up together. How can every bundle all over uk not go through as one. Basically are all the GOTW offers messed up. thanks

OK guys, complicated one.

Been to a Tesco near me in Scotland, saw posters for DS and Lego Star Wars 2 to save £10 off, which I bought and discount didnt come off.....

now the manager, seemed a nice lady took me into her office and asked me what has happened (!) so I explained that I thought I was entitled to a full refund on the game and console, as per the Tesco policy, however the manager only offered me a £10 refund and told me that there was a lot of "defrauding" going on, and how the Police are getting involved.

Any way I took both keeping them sealed, didn't take the £10.

What do you think I should do? Call HO tomorrow or/and go back and see him 2moro after she's seen her manager?

noticed some 360 posters today, offer poster had Godfather as GOTW, then spotted xbox top games poster, with Lego wars as game of the week, both posters were in date from today
