  • I had a situation today, a 2 pce boys outfit priced £12 - on one side of the label marked £9, the other side a scrawl which did not look like £9 and I read it as £5.

The outfit went through the till at £9 - I went to CS and told them I thought I had been overcharged, clothing came and said every other outfit was priced £9 and the Manager was called. He said as a goodwill gesture he would refund the £4 but really I should have paid the £9.00. Now by offering the money, then he was admitting a pricing error so it could have been a R&R.

However, being a shy type I just didn't want the argument, he was very patronising.

Then 3 come along at once!!!!
  • I also had an Xbox the other week and I was treated equally well by KK, so I can only imagine there is some other factor.

I hate to say it, but is it accent or perhaps the style with which you conduct your side of the conversation?

No. It must be something else. I've dealt with both KK and JL, both of these experiences pleasant, efficient, helpful, all the rest of it. Today was very different. Bullsh1t all the way despite several very polite reminders of policy and consumer law.

I'd be tempted to believe that there is a 'black flag' in operation were it not for Jango's treatment on his first RnR outing ...

    Just had terrible experience .

No doubt his @rse is still sore over a psp or xbox fvck up! We are likely to see more reactions like this as managers get desperate to conceal their sh*tty housekeeping and protect their hides.

We can put up with it or we can kick back!

  • Hi,

Tesco at Billingham, Teesside has the posters, console and games. All SEL's are white with no expiry dates on them.

I haven't the bottle to do it so can somebody go and let me know what happened.

    Thanks

  • I was browsing the GBA Games this morning in a Manchester store (not brave enough to try for large items) and overheard a Manager having the xbox saga explained to him by the lady who stocks up the entertainment section. She understood it fully, I think, by telling him they should not put up any posters until prices checked, and that should avoid the problem. She told him all about the website and he looked extremely interested. I walked away making a mental note to change to another store. Once he gets reading this my fun will be stopped. :D

If you are not in a position to tie up £320 for a few days you shouldn't go for it, there will always be future opportunities anyway, if you do and don't get discounted wait until you have the kit in your hand and then raise the issue of the missing discount and shut your mouth! Each customer service agent is issued with a shovel during training and given the instruction to commence digging upon mention of overcharge.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
